ok i'm so confuse! so is malice mizer IS gackt or no? cause malice mizer look like gackt! so why don't they call "gackt"instead of "malice mizer"?

na ni? no. no. Gackt and Malice Mizer are two different things.
Malice Mizer is a Visuel Kei/J-rock-ish band.
Gackt is a singer/entertainer.
Gackt use to be part of the band, Malice Mizer... as their lead singer for some part of time.
you can definitely look into this more if you are interested from browsing our guild's Sticky for info sites/fansites that has some info.

(^-^) oh so he doesn't in that band anymore? sadly, no. he's no longer in that band anymore. if memory serves me, i think he quit back in 1997 or so. but i may be wrong. during when Gackt use to be their lead singer... there was a whole era call the Gackt Era for Malice Mizer. but the band has disbanded after a few years after the Gackt Era. you can definitely Wiki search keyword "Malice Mizer" and they will give a summary of each "Era" they went through.

...Its really funnny, I was just comparing Malice Mizer Gackt with present Gackt heart ...Its really diffrent. Btw, wasn't Gackts first song w/ them: Illuminiti? if it isn't please correct me. But when I saw Illuminiti I almost died from the shear shock, it was so diffrent from all his solo songs. I knew Malice Mizer was a more rock but... eek . Anyway, but I belive he seperated with Malice Mizer in 1999?

"Illuminiti" was probably their first vid for their 2nd album "Merveilles" (or however you spell it). i wouldn't know. uhhhh... don't know first song he did with MM, but he was with MM for two albums: Voyage ~Sans Retour~ and Merveilles. probably the most successful album was Merveilles. not sure. uhhh... eughck... after watching the video to Illuiminiti, i was starting to get vertigo and sick. the song was good, but the video was crazy dizzy. oh you're right about him leaving in 1999... because Merveilles was released in 1998. good catch. G-loves for you. (^-^) lol.
