Getting Started/Terms of Service/Account Registration/Character Creation/Battle System/GMs/Players/Updates/ Other Info Welcome to the game New Territory. We are glad you chose us and hope you enjoy your experience with us. In your starter kit you should have received a game gauntlet, 50 blank cards, and 5 used cards, 3 common, 1 uncommon, and 1 foil card. These will be explained later on in this book. The first thing you must knew is where your nearest game hub building is. Otherwise this kit is useless as the game must be accessed from a hub. Next you must agree to the Terms of Service and create your account. Finally you may create your character and log in to begin play! As beta testers you will have several rights and privileges when the game fully launches and more people are let in! Good luck and have fun! Page 1 ((Ok, due to some fluke, another person also made an Rp with "Strange New" in the title, but after some investigating, I found that mine was made about 20-30 minutes before the other was. Simply check the time of the first posts if you want to debate this.))

Getting Started/Terms of Service/Account Registration/ Character Creation/Battle System/GMs/Players/Updates/ Other Info This is a list of all the character types in the game so that you can decide on how you want to experience the virtual world. Warrior:These are the brute force of any army. They use a variety of weapons and are extremely powerful and hard to kill. They are usually slow to make up for it though, so do not reply on them alone. Mage:Mages are your basic spellcasters. They wield staffs or wands to amplify their power. These people can wield many elements and channel them into spells of great power. Rouge:Speedy and insanely accurate, rouges are physically weak but make up for it with their ability to scan enemies to find their weak points. Rouges use daggers and other very light weapons. Archer:Archers use bows and are also very accurate. They are good with nature and some can even tame beasts to use as pets. Assassins:Assassins are rouges that use guns as well as daggers and are faster, but the trade off is that they are less resilient than rouges and cannot scan. We shall also accept any ideas that are given to us, as we are constantly trying to improve the game. Page 4

Getting Started/Terms of Service/Account Registration/Character Creation/ Battle System/GMs/Players/Updates/ Other Info The battle system is in real time and the pods you use to access the game interpret your movements into the game itself. The cards you received are used to store data. Sometimes when you defeat a monster in a certain way, you receive its card. This is stored on one of your blank cards and can be used in the game for certain benefits. Maybe wings, the ability to move boulders, dig, or even for use in combat, it all depends. These cards can be traded to other players in real life as any loaded cards will show the monster in it on the front. Page 5

Getting Started/Terms of Service/Account Registration/Character Creation/Battle System/ GMs/Players/Updates/ Other Info User name: TwoDou Outer World Name: Jericho Login Name: Vanyel Gender: Male Age: 17 Class: Assassin Weapon: Gins, daggers Bio: Jericho is a programmer of some fame, but only because of his commercial work that he did. He is a reformed hacker but was flailing for work. After a lot of grunt work he received an email from the Wild Fox gaming corporation asking if he wanted to become an administrator to help deal with the glitches and hacks that could arise with the beta release of their game, New Territories. Jericho readily agreed just to get in on the release. As a gamer he had been following development like a blood hound, and if all else failed he could sell information to the game mags that would pay big bucks for inside info. Appearance: Page 6

"Hello sir!" the attendant said to him as he entered the building, "If you will follow me I shall give you your access card to your office on the upper floor. The elevator requires special access to take a person that far, so be sure to remember this card when you come in." she continued, handing him a special key card. He took it and thanked her as the elevator doors opened and he entered. She followed behind and continued her speech, "You have access to the entire facility, including the player lounge on floor seven and the gym on floor six. The other four floors below that contain the gaming modules. The quality increases as the number rises, floor five being the best below game master levels."
When the floor was reached she stepped out with him after stopping the elevator so she would not be stranded, always the professional she never missed a beat. "This is your office, more furnishings can be provided as well as drinks." He nodded, "Thank you, I would like to get to business now." She nodded as well, "As you wish, good luck sir." The woman stepped into the elevator and released the stop button, hitting the button for the ground floor.
As soon as she left he put the attach case he had been carrying on the desk. He opened and put on his gaming gauntlet grabbing the deck as well. Jericho opened the pod and locked himself in, turning the game on. He logged in and was soon in the game of New Territory.
