It was either help his father pick up balls or come to the daycare. Obviously there was no true choice for the blue haired boy, and he often found himself reading story books to the children that had to stay after just as he did. Today he was planning on working his way through another chapter of "Alice in Wonderland." But he hadn't opened the book yet, seeing as kids were still being picked up by their parents. He was just doing his homework in the corner, waiting for the chaos of finding coats and mittens and shoes to die down.

Nataya stood near the wall, watching as the other kids were being picked up by their parents. She then looked over, seeing a bigger kid she hadn't seen before. She hugged her plum a little and took a few steps towards him before stopping to look at the adults picking up their kids. Mommy wasn't here yet, but the child was sure she'd be here soon. Mommy was never late....was she? She then turned back around, looking at the blue-haired boy. She walked over, looking at the paper with the odd writing on it. "What you doing?" she asked, smiling brightly at the older boy. She could talk to him until Mommy came!

He looked up, smiling at her. "I'm doing my homework," he told her. "But usually I read for some of the kids that stay after class. My Father has to stay longer to clean up."

"Home....work?" she asked softly, thinking for a second. "Should be worked at home?" After all, it was called home work, not daycare work. She then smiled a little more. "That cool....your daddy work here?"

"I like to get it done before I get home," he said. "And yes, he's the gym coach for the older kids. You'll meet him when you're older." She was a cute little thing! Now how come some other kids weren't this cute, he asked himself as he glanced over at Christian, who was sound asleep and snoring on the other side of the room.
"I'm Antony. What's your name?" he asked.

"Oh....." Nataya said, nodding. That sort of made sense. "Cool....." She could go to a gym when she was older? She'd heard Uncle Matthias tell Mommy she should go to one, so she figured it would be a cool place. She giggled a little; she couldn't wait to 'get growed up' so she could go to gym. She then heard the boy, Antony, introduce himself. "This one is named Nat-yah." she said cheerfully. "'S nice to meetchu, Aunt Tony."

Fortunately for Casia, she and Anna were just visiting the Liberty Center to sign up the siren baby for classes. Poor lass would have to start school soon, and Anna couldn't be happier. Not that having Casia around the house wasn't fun, but she figured she could have a few hours a day to "recharge" after playing hide and seek for the upteenth time.
"Now Cassy, dear, I'll be right over there," came a voice through the open door. There, kneeling next to the shy little girl in a rather loud dress, was an even more oddly dressed woman. Anna's wardrobe consisted of a black, modest turtleneck, with a grass green jumper and headband, with a pair of green polished Wellies. It was as though farmer met art deco. Nevertheless, she ushered the awkward child into the room. She smiled brightly, seeing the room was just as bright as she was. "See? There's other kids here!" She waved at them, causing Casia to give a weak wave.
As soon as she left, though, Casia stood awkwardly, fiddling with the edge of her dress. She'd never been left alone with more than one kid, in a building where she hardly knew anyone. Wait, yes she did. That time when she met Harper! She hoped he got the picture she painted him. Feeling more shy than curious, she quietly shuffled over to a beanbag chair and sat down, before jumping up at the chair's desire to practically suck her in. This place was like a funhouse, only scarier.

"No," Antony said. "It's AN-tony, not Aunt Tony," he said. He wasn't an aunt! He wasn't even an uncle!! He glanced up at the little siren girl, giving her a smile in greeting.
"Would you like to hear a story?" he asked, rather than get into the whole "aunt" question.
Chris snorted and rolled over, muttering something in his duel toned voice before going back to snoring. He even SNORED with two voices.

"Ohs....sorries, Antony...." she said, careful to get his name right. She looked over, following Aunt Antony's gaze to see the other girl. She waved to the girl, smiling brightly at her. She then looked back up to the older boy, nodding and smiling. She'd love to hear a story! Storytime was the best!

A story? She just wanted to go home!
Then again, if the story had singing in it, she wouldn't mind staying for a few more minutes. "Music story! Story about music!" she chirped, scurrying over to the two, standing there silently, before repeating, "U-um.. story about music?" She suddenly felt awkward again, and folded her arms behind her back.

"Well, I'm afraid the story I was going to do doesn't have music in it..." Antony said, thinking quickly. "But we don't have to do that today. We could just... I don't know, make up a story with music in it?"
The only stories with music in them that he could think of were cheesy princess movies (which he had once been addicted to) or the Phantom of the Opera (which he doubted babies should hear about.)
"What all should be in our story?" he asked them.

Casia's face lightened, and she sat down in front of Antony. This would be fun, a story with music! Perhaps they'd be songs she knew, too, then she could really show off her talents!
What could a story have that had music? Why only- "THE BEATLES!" she yelled at the top of her lungs, wings flapping excitedly. She'd completely forgotten (or perhaps ignored) Chris sleeping and giggled. "Beatles sound good! Beatles music cherry and cool!" Looks like someone's slang was rubbing off on Casia...

Nataya thought a moment, then grinned. "Dare sood be O-bron an Tight-Ana an Puck." she said, trying her best to name the characters from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer's Night's Dream. Oberon was the Faerie King, Titania was the Faerie Queen, and Puck was the faerie mischief maker. Mommy had been reading that book outloud to her for the past few days.

He blinked. They wanted him to put Shakespeare and the Beatles together? How in the world was he going to pull off something like that?
"Well..." he said slowly. "Then once upon a time there lived a beautiful queen of the fairies, whose name was Tatiana. And she loved to listen to the Beatles. In fact, she loved listening to them so much that she forgot to pay attention to her husband, Oberon."
Okay, not the most original story, but, he thought, he could pull it off. Maybe.

(God I'm loving this. xD)
Casia waved her hand wildly. "Me too! Me too! I listen Beatles!" she proclaimed proudly, putting her hands on her hips. Then she blinked; was she Queen Tatiana?! ... Naaaah.
"When we sing?" she asked impatiently, wiggling a bit. She was ready to sing "All Together Now", or perhaps the parts of "The Octopus' Garden" that she knew. Although why there would be an octopus with some fairies, who knew.
