ok a situation where u farm mats for an item for tailoring, bs, LW, ext. then when u go in a instance/raid raid group u get an item better than what u made?
all day yesterday and this morning i farmed mats for battlecast pants and was so happy when i got it made. then that afternoon in kara in opera event, it was romeo and juliet and trial fire trousers dropped.
my guild was like AHAHAHA at me because they knew ive been farming for the battlecast pants.

Similar situation, but not exactly. I just got my warlock up to 70 like a week or two ago. She made some purple shoulders, then she got the tier 4 gloves. Everything else on her is green or blue. And of course, the only things to drop every run since then are either shoulders or gloves, the two things I don't really need right now. xp Your situation is probably worse though. xp Hehe.

Sorta. I worked my a** off for mats for [Bracers of the Green Fortress] (as well as paying 500g for the plans), then ran Heroic Ramparts a few days later & got [Vambrances of Daring]. I use them a lot more, for the block value, BotGF really only sort of work for bosses. /cry

Yeah. It's happened. And it wasn't even kara that did it. I bought some epic shoulder upgrades in the AH... brutal price of 600g or so... and not even a week later we ran Shadow Labs...and a BLUE item replaced em by a long-run. >> I was really pissed at myself... there went 600g I was saving for my Netherdrake training and buyout. gonk

Yea. It happen to me all the time. I wait a bit try to do a couple of instance run (it can be any) and finally broke down and buy myself an upgrade then the next week or so, I get a better item.....

then, AS SOON AS I GOT THE ENCHANT, i was invited to run kara. Staff of Infinite Mysteries dropped. I won.
crying more money for +40 spell damage......

I won. crying more money for +40 spell damage...... btw, venom, nice sig! itachi-san rules! yes he does itachi my fav off naruto. and ya i used continuum blade before i got my staff of infinte very decent staff and looks really dope but what im hunting now is the one from lrd kazzack that looks like a felhunter.
