I just got one of my orders today. I just got the game D for the Sega Saturn.
WELL the first disc is a little messy, with scratches on the disc, as well as what look like a small dent. During the start up the Akklaim logo is a tad bit slow, and the start up FMV gets slow half way through. And the menu comes up with corrupted data.
But from what I've seen playing it, the game runs fine. My problem is this.
I wanted to save the game, so I looked in the manual for how to save and found this:
"Warning:
This game has no save function, but requires 5 units of internal back-up RAM. When playing this game on a wide screen TV, part of the screen may not be displayed."
No save function WTH? But it gets even more interesting:
"Explanation of Rules
1.) Time Limit: Due to its story, this game has a two hour time limit. Laura, the protagonist, enters the hospital at 3 o'clock, but at 5 o'clock the other world is closed off, so the game terminates. Be aware of the time while you are playing this game.
Note: In keeping with the time limit, this Game does not contain a pause feature."
And goes on to say it has multiple ending and is a two CD set.
SO my dilemma here is:
If the game is really only 2 hours long, and as of now I'm not having any trouble with playing the acutal game, should I even bother contacting the sellers about the disc? BTW the 2nd disc looks fine.

You paid for it, so you expect quality. Don't let them jerk you around.

I paid $10.48 off a gift card from a contest I won.
My only thing is, would have to pay shipping to send the item back, and I don't have any spare cash.

It's your call. Do you think it would be worth the time and money to send it back and get another copy which may have the exact same issue or worse? Also you got to factor in the shiping to send it back. Will it cost more or exactly the cost of the game itself?

The Eternal It's your call. Do you think it would be worth the time and money to send it back and get another copy which may have the exact same issue or worse? Also you got to factor in the shiping to send it back. Will it cost more or exactly the cost of the game itself? I'll have to play the game more, to see if it does effect the actual game. But this game is 13 years old, and while I can find it on eBay, and amazon the prices will differ. I paid $3.99 for shipping, and it would surprise me if it costs something awful to ship it as it came in the original bulky Sega Saturn case.

How long is your grace period for the game?
