from november. it's marker so the color didn't come out too well when i scanned it but that's ok~



from may. uhh yeah i meant to draw fire but then i didn't so it ended up looking like his hands were glowing.



last month wooo. it's a pretty awkward pose....



i don't know if ill ever get around to finishing this. i haven't looked at it in a while and now i see a lot of things i don't like.

your bellybuttons are too low

@ inviktis: it's ok idc everybody has their own personal preference. i just don't like people who think manga/comics aren't art. it's not easy to draw anything in any style~

i love your lines, your probably one of my fav artists on gaia
because your style is consistent and recognizable and w/e

your little characters always have life and energy :}!

what im not very fond of its your color palette
it really tends to downplay how amazing and solid your lines are

like i dont know, theres just something a little off with the color choices
it doesnt like showcase your skill well enough its kind of too desaturated (?) xD

or something, maybe its that its a kind of rough coloring
and your lines are just soooo ******** clean? xD

Unfortunately, I can't agree with the whole "if you don't like *manga* then don't look."

Manga techinically is just japanese comic book. It has nothing to do with style: Tokyo mew mew vs. Berserk are completely different, yet "manga style". Watch with that.

Looking at your cartoons, I can really tell you have basic to limited understanding of how things just fit together. Even looking at your figures, if you get rid of the colour, and simply trace the face, they are all almost the same (the females having bigger lips/eyes than males, but really no noticeable difference).

Specifically the second one, you have no idea how lighting or folds work, and the background gives nothing to the image. The face also shows no understanding of basic shapes; what comes forward and what goes back.

It doesn't matter what style you draw in; however, you need to start studying anatomy, lighting, and the basics much more in order for your "manga style" to look much more appealing.
