Favre? I dont know about that. I mean yea, he has the most yards in his career, but he also has the most interceptions.

IndianapolisColtsFan Favre? I dont know about that. I mean yea, he has the most yards in his career, but he also has the most interceptions. But the interceptions one is because he's an "iron man" who's been around for a very long time. Who did he pass in career interceptions? Marino. And this was done recently...I mean, Marino is a top 5 QB, right? TD-INT 442-288 Passing yards 61,655 QB Rating 85.7 Completions-Attempts 5,377/8,758 Completion % 61.4 He is also a 9 time Pro Bowler, and a 7 time All Pro team. 3 consecutive MVPs. NFL 1990's all decade team. Super Bowl XXXI champion. Records in yards thrown, touchdowns thrown, consecutive QB starts, and starting QB wins (all for career). He's a definite Hall of Famer, and should be considered as a top 5 QB.

But dosn't Manning have the best winning percentage in the NFL, since his second year as a starting QB?

But Favre makes stupid throws that should never of been thrown. Nevertheless sometimes these throws do come down into his receivers hands, just as much as the defenders hands. Im not trying to put down Brett, he is a really great QB, i just dont know about a top 5 of all time. neutral

I don't really get what happened against the Giants though. He had all the opportunities on his side, at home, and blew it. He made mentally stupid choices in throwing the ball, and did not manage the offense well (such as not getting Grant more involved). You never know though. Favre may have seen his last game in the NFL. He is set to make a choice pretty soon. It would be a sad note to see him end his career on an NFC Championship losing interception, at home, in overtime.

The Packers gave up on the run game which failed early (if they kept at it, they probably could have found some big gains and we'd be talking about Patriots/Packers). In games like these, in the extreme cold, the most physical team will definitely win. The Giants played physical, and that came down to who pressured the opposing QB more, in this case.

The drive was not there anymore.
