Luckily for me, this one doesn't involve me getting shocked... (though when I was messing with my ccfl inverter today, there was a chance, but nothing happened... I did break one of my tubes... then broke one of my inverters...
crying )
Anyways, it's a little thing called a "joule thief"... It takes "dead batteries" and runs off of 'em... It drains batteries dry like a starving vampy would do to a person... ^_^
Anyways... I've got all the stuff... but... well...
Here's the site...
http://www.emanator.demon.co.uk/bigclive/joule.htmSee the step where you get to wind your own mini-transformer? ******** HAET! >_>
My hands are not that ******** small... the ******** wire is thinner and harder to see than fishing line... the ******** bead is tiny as hell (as can be seen)... and it's just a PAIN IN THE ******** a** to do...
So far... I tried for an hour to do it... and you know what I have? I have a ferrite bead, in the middle of two tiny a** pieces of wire with no damn loops... at all...
T___T
And I am NOT looking forward to trying to solder this damn thing together... but afterwards, I'll have the best damn led flashlight around... n_n
In the meantime... I might try to take the other inverter I have, and find a way to turn it into a ******** painful stungun... And relive my frustrations on the ******** SCREAMING BIRDS IN THE OTHER ROOM... >_>
