Katana'k stretched his forelegs and sighed, fangs protruding from her mouth, he snarled at nothing in particular. Flicking his tail in annoyance, he couldn't believe he had wandered this far off. His paws sifted into the sand beneath him as he walked onwards, snarling to himself, at his brother, who was not present, but he gave up on that, and walked in silence, and watched as the dunes were spread and moved by the wind.
Shaking his mane, trying to free it from some of the sand that had gotten caught within the blackness, he stopped, and peered around, he was thirsty, hot, alone, wandering still, unable to find the oaf.
Katana'k hope he had died, or he'd kill him the first chance he got for making him wander so far, be so alone all the time, unable to find his father.
Pride was lost amongst the dunes, in more ways than one.

It was a rare occurrence to see the tornado goddess traveling without her destructive companions, but today she was. She did, however, land with quite a sandy clamor as her wings beat the dunes into life. Sand particles scattered, giving the appearance of dust or smoke parting ways for her to step through.
Of course... it wasn't quite that dramatic in appearance, nor as graceful as one might assume. With a coughing fit the adolescent stumbled over the top of the dune and just barely managed to keep her footing as she moved down the other side.
"I can't believe mortals -live- in these forsaken places!" She growled, shaking vigorously once standing somewhat firmly again. The sand, it got -every-where! In her mane, in her eyes, her body fur, her mouth, everywhere!

Katana'k let his jaw fall open as he tried to lull the sand off from his tongue, bitter and rough, and it was horrible. If only there was water nearby, and for a moment, he thought he saw something glinting not that far away, so instinctively walked towards it, something else, darker, moving as well. His armor was heavy, and he was hot, the sun beating sun making his armor shine, when he was younger, it bothered his eyes, but now it was fine, hardly bothered him at all.
Flicking his tail, keeping his jaw closed as tight as he could manage, Katana'k started heading towards hte moving figure, half stumbling all the way, stupid sand, moving and getting in the way. If only the winds here didn't shift so often he'd fly his way out of here, but then again, the wind along with the sand particles did no good for his eyes and wings.
He was a black mass in a sand trap.

All at once the brown figure stopped, almost as if having sensed the other's presence, but no. She turned her head away from the wind and sputtered a bit, trying desperately to spit out some sand that had gotten into her mouth when she so unwisely opened it to utter her complaint of disbelief. "Blehhh!!" She protested again, then snapped her jaws shut tight and turned, lifting a wing to shield her face against a sudden gust of wind.
Once that had died down she peered with narrowed eyes, spotting something glinting mercilessly in the light ahead. What the hell was that?
She stood, waiting, aware that it was an immortal approaching her but fearing not. Her domain was perhaps the most destructive of all, as far as she was concerned at least, besides fire. There wasn't much that would pose a threat to her as long as she had her powers, agility, and the natural brute strength that most quadruped predators possessed.

Something dark, something brown, something female and something like himself. He walked towards her, not worrying about power or anger he might inflict upon her for trespassing through something she may call her own. But indeed, her appearance and self did intrigue him, and she also wondered why she looked so, so familiar. He arched a brow at her, as he moved closer, paws dipping into the golden sand, wind dying down, thank the gods, and his paw prints still ended up fading into nothingness with the gentle licking breezes about.
He stopped, mere feet from her, and a grin crossed his jaw, fangs showing slightly in a smirk, that fur, those eyes, he remember now, "Seems our paths have finally crossed again, Chamchela," he wondered if she would remember, remember him, remember they had become, 'friends'.
So many things to wonder.
Look at how she had grown so strong, and she definitely had enough pride to fuel her strength, that was obvious, it almost seemed to seep from her in an aura about herself. She had become so much stronger.

Elly snorted as the figure finally became clear. Someone else from her past. She was running into a lot of old faces these days, first Zeki, then Mrost, now Katana'k. She hadn't forgotten, he'd been the one and so far only being able to scare her, though to her credit she'd only been a child at the time, such wasn't the case now and she could surely handle herself.
"You again... Didn't think I'd run into you of all people here of all places." She glanced at his armor for emphasis.

Katana'k grinned at her. Look at how she had grown since last time, almost an adult now, though still at the age of adolescence that kept most from overbearing responsibilities. Though, not the case, usually, when being an immortal. Flicking his tail he shrugged his shoulders, and rolling them slightly to ease some of the soreness that lingered in his joints from the never ending travel. "What, not happy to see me Chamchela? Rough days as of late?"
he wondered if she had seen his father.
Better yet, his brother...oo, how he'd love to watch as his brother might be tortured by her tornadoes, that'd be wonderful indeed.
"I hope times have treated you well since we last met..."

"Not when you're calling me that." She growled a bit, warningly glowering at the elder god. She made a habit of telling everyone to call her Elly, as she hated how long and girly Chamchela sounded, even if she liked it's meaning. She seated herself on the warm sands, reaching up a paw to scratch at her ear and shake some sand loose. "Well enough. You're all in one piece so I'm assumin' the same." She commented with a nod in his direction.

Katana'k was taken aback by her statement, what could it have been, he said her name? Oh, that. He mentally slapped himself, claws extended into his cheek. "Er-sorry Elly, really..." he had forgotten, damn it. Why did he forget such things? "Seems so, however it would have been nice to adorn a scar here or there with knowing they were from my brother...but I still have yet to find him," or his father. Why was he always so far behind? So far behind, always, he needed to press forward, but how could he with so much past weighing on his shoulders, besides, how to move forward anyway? He huffed, life was damn difficult sometimes.

It was forgotten with a soft snort, eyes closed. She was now onto other things.
"Well I know the feeling. I haven't been able to find mine either." She grudgingly admitted, her voice seething, however. Her hatred for the male she didn't even know yet seemed to grow and fuel every day, sadly enough. What would happen if they did ever meet face to face? Her eyes calmed again gradually though, refocused on the black beast before her. "I saw Mrost a few days ago." He'd come looking for her, a fact she was still feeling a high from, feeling wanted and appreciated, something she didn't get from her own father, obviously, and something she just couldn't see if her mother expressed it at all. She glanced at the ground to rake at it with her claws, digging trenches into the sand only for it to fill again instantly, which in itself seemed interesting enough to keep up for now. "He was about a day's travel by foot from here. Said he was making his rounds or something."
She knew exactly why, but it wasn't like Elly to consider something like that important information since it didn't pertain to WHERE he was now. He could be anywhere, literally.

Mrost.
He felt his heart stop for a moment, and his claws dug into the sand as he thrashed his tail for a moment, the now gentle wind ruffling his mane, already attacked by sand particles that, for now, refused to be free from his black self. His eyes narrowed for a moment, but he brushed it off, he couldn't be angry at Elly for seeing him before himself, time, time was not on his side even still.
Perhaps he could catch up with him.
"He...didn't say anything..about, my brother, do you know Elly?" he was asking a question, even a favor to tell him, though he wondered if she knew. If so, he'd have to owe her something for the information.

Elly registered the changes only because she glanced up after a few moments of clawing the sand, but she waited quietly for him to come back down to Earth.
Her thoughts instantly went to Mrost's comment about his children, and that, she at least, did share.
"He mentioned trying to train one of his cubs for a month, but... I don't think it was who you're looking for unless he was reborn, and even then I doubt if Mrost would bother looking for him just to raise again."
Mrost wasn't really the fathering type, in her eyes, not when it was someone he disliked anyway.
"You never told me what your brother looks like or who he is." She commented. Their first encounter had been all about Mrost. She'd opened her big mouth to brag about her teacher and nearly gotten her head bitten off by the eager god before her now, but she'd been young and easily frightened. After realizing his mistake he'd apologized... and she'd almost forgotten they had resolved to be friends after, but it came back to her now, not that she would have treated him any differently thus far.

Cubs? Katana'k quirked a brow and shook his head, white eyes on Elly, "I doubt K'Anatak would have gotten killed, and even if that would have happened, I'd still find him and do it myself..." yes, then it'd be over, though he could be reborn, he could settle the score himself. He didn't want to mention anything about fathering, Mrost had not been there when he and his brother were cubs, when their mother disappeared, but he still had the silver ring on his tail, just as his brother got one from the god of war himself as a reminder of where their blood lay.
They were fathered strength, bloodshed, and power, by War.
He hadn't? He wrinkled his nose, "He's very...fluffy, white, kind hearted, black eyes, pure black as mine are pure white, and instead of wings like these," he head up a forearm, the devil like wings protruding from his forearms, "They are made of feathers..." more angelic.
Near opposites really.
"His name is K'Anatak, mine but reversed..." he gave a smirk though, a thankful smile but a grin as well, "Again it seems you've helped me Elly, and I have done nothing yet for you...tell me, is there something you desire that I might be able to help with?" Maybe a simple task, hunt something, find water out here, something that wouldn't kill him...that was for certain.
But at least he could offer a trade of sorts, that was all in good favor between friends, thats what friends did...right?

Shouldn't be hard to spot." Elly yawned then, stretching her jaws wide to reveal rows of fangs and sharp teeth. Afterwards she gave her head a habitual shake, loosening some sand. "No... Not really. But if you see my father be sure to tell me. He looks like your brother, but he probably has some light blue to him. I owe him a few claw marks."

Her father? He quirked a brow, but said nothing. He wondered what her father could have done to her, she hadn't spoken of hi before, least, he didn't remember any mention of him. But a few claw marks meant something bad had happened, and he nodded, "I will," and hoped in due time that both of them could put their pasts to rest one day and move onto better, more meaningful things. Flicking his tail he stretched his forearms, gave her a smile, not a grin, not a smirk, but a smile, since when did he have a conversation about his brother when he felt lighter in spirit afterwards? Rare quite rare, but so was Elly, and her strength.
Everyone had something unique to their own self.
'Cept his brother, well..no, his brother was fluffy...the idiot.
So it goes though he supposed, some things just...were as they were.
Such was life.
