So, according to many online sources like this one, it's apparently not-so-impossible for the graphical tour-de-force known as Crysis to work well on a home console. At least, not impossible for one of the home consoles....

I actually saw that on Josystiq. I wasn't really that surprised the PS3 is an amazing piece of hardware.
I was like huh..Imagine Crysis on 1080i...

Although...I wonder will it fit? And will it have frame rate issues.

Crysis is selling terribly on the PC, so a port is to be expected at some point, I'm surprised that there isn't a push for a 360 version though.

Am I the only one that made that connection with the title? Anyways, I stand firm in my preference of controllers over keyboards. If they want to make PS3 Crysis, I say go for it.

Arvis_Jaggamar Yeah, but I think 360-fans were expecting it as well... Nah, even as an owner of a 360. (Still gone, coming in a few weeks) I think it wouldn't fit. As a DVD and plus having the fact it runs on windows. (Yes this is a factor, small but still one). I think Crysis would have problems. It would of been stripped down.

Like "turkey" sounds great, but "diced turkey" sounds gross.

Bleh, I've already played Crysis at higher resolution than anything the PS3 will churn out. Possibly even got better frame rates.
That was until my computer died. Stupid Crysis and your max settings. Damn you...
