Has anyone else noticed that some items have gotten at least six updates by now, and some that have been around for just as long are only on the second stage? I think it's a bit unfair to those of us with the slower items; we, too, shelled (no pun intended, I assure you!) over a lot of gold or money for an egg, or an agate, or what have you. Just to watch our items actually go down in value because of their sluggish evolution.
Witness, Fausto's Bottle. How often does it make the weekly Evolving Item Report? I can answer that: very. It's now on stage seven, as opposed to stage two for the Orindae. The Panthercorax Agate was released after the Green Corallus Egg; Agate is on stage four and the Egg is on three. It's just a bit annoying, to watch my items devalue as others' skyrocket due to a slow release on Gaia's part. I can only hope that as these items evolve farther, they'll even out more in price.

It better not be- this is one of the very few evolving items that's actually devaluated over time. I bought it for 11k, and it's now down to under 9k. For 1st gen. Faustos' bottle went from about 12k to about 120k. A ten-fold increase.
And, no, it's not. Because I can't get to the other stages for it yet.

Maybe those items will never come back in stock again though. Also, they might be much better items once they've evolved.

None of them are ever coming back in stock again- that's the bit about most of the Cash Shop items.
They'd better be pretty damned good for us to be waiting this long. I've been doing a spot of research- the Green Corallus Egg has a four-week period between each evolution. FOUR WEEKS! As opposed to one or two for the Faustos' Bottle. And what about the DandiDooDad Spore? That's another really, really slow one. Though Egg and Spore should, theoretically, reach their next stage later this week.

I have several of the evolving items and I also have problems with the slow evolution of the cheaper ones. The speed of the evolution and the amoutn of stages seems to be directly related to the cost of the item. To me this is just a bit unfair, althought it makes sense to give better items for more gold/money.

I'm liking the big ol' mega-snake... Wonder how much more massive it's going to get. I also really like this manifestation of Tama's Basket. I never equipped that item, just had it sitting in my inventory (like my Panthercorax Agate! Weird colours...). But I'm liking the bamboo. 'Specially with Snakey here.
And it's nice to see that Spore finally evolve into something that isn't just a plant. Reminds me of those Jumpluff from Pokemon...
The Experiment intrigues me, as does the White Drome Egg. Like every item but the Faustos Bottle and Hermes' Moon, I'll probably buy them and just hold them in my inventory. After their price drops from the initial frenzy.

Just wondering...how do you get the damn blue bird thing to sit on top of your head? I don't seem to have the option, and even though I probably wouldn't ever use it, it's bugging me that it doesn't work.

Not sure. Again, it's a sit-in-my-inventory item until I make an avatar with those colours in them. I'm a bit obsessive-compulsive when it comes to the colours in my avatar...

Ugh. So, the evolution this week.
First off, the Biancamella. WTF is that thing? So far as I can tell, it's just random sparklies. And... a sugar bowl?
The Green Corallus Egg made me laugh. So hard. Totally unsuitable for equipping, because it covers my whole avatar and has layering issues yet, but still very funny. But now I'm going to have to wait 4 weeks before I equip my GCE again. Ugh. THANKS, Gaia. No, really. I do like it. Just... not with my avatars.
The Experiment was a pretty standard pathetic first-time growth. Nothing else to say. It didn't really change much.
Dandii DooDad Spore was well... interesting. It's cute, though not much different from last time's, considering the wait. However, it does have multiple ways to equip it, something very few other items have (GCE, for instance, has only had one position each time).
Now to the last, Panthercorax Agate. I was very disappointed. It's ugly as hell. End of story. G'bye.

Well it is starting to look as if getting the Rose thing may have been a mistake. Lets hope that it starts looking a little better on its next evolution.

As for the rose, I personally think it's adorable. But I'd still rather get the experiment. Just so... icky and cuddly all at the same time! Hehe.

It's just that I can imagine a lot of ways to make a really cool looking bat like animal, but instead I have this little bat with a huge head that looks like some sort of child/vampire. It would look terrible equipped to my avi.
I have the experiment too, but it's just a little too ugly for my tastes.
