Master Tatsuo (means dragon man) Shimabuku. At sixty he could jump up, kick five times, and land. He was amazing. He is also the founder of Isshin Ryu Karatedo

of course, nod off to Bruce Lee. but he's the standard that almost all martial artists are judged..

Jet Li. he's lightning fast. I've seen clips of him moving in real time.. nuff said. also, I've learned about his philosophies and they have a certain resonation with me. about being at peace internally and respecting the balance of things..

Jackie, of course. though his more recent works I've been disappointed with. he's gone towards the ways of wire-fu and CG. I don't blame him though. he's had just about every bone in his body broken atleast once and he is getting old.. but in his prime, he was the man..

(on a side note, there was an Inside Kung Fu interview with Jackie a few months back and he's mentioned how he'd be interested to do a movie with Jet Li. it's just been timing issues that's kept them apart. it'd be interesting to see those two work together considering their styles and personalities are so different)

lessee....

Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, and more recently, Cung Lee. these guys rock my world, you guys..

O-sensei Morehei Ueshiba (and if I miss spelled the name, please forgive me.)

I had the pleasure of watching an old film with him in it. It was one of those old black and white films like they used to show in schools, complete with ultra-lame narration.

Ueshiba just walked through opponents like they were nothing. He was well into his 70s, maybe 80 when they filmed it. His skills were unfathomable.

nobody knows how Bruce lee died,at the time the chinease didnt want their hero to look bad! and his parents wanted his life insurance money!
but a couple of the theories are that he died from either a hyper allergy to a headache pill, or cocaine!! did you know that!? Because I didn't!! some guy sitting next to me in the computer room knows ALL about him xd well according to him there are many many theories though!
