I'm a picky person when it comes to the quality of my games. Well for PS2 and above. Stuff that's like from the Saturn world is ok. But when it comes to games from last gen I expect everything to be there when I get the game, original case, instructions, etc.

To the point, using my Amazon.com gift card, I'm thinking of getting this game called Galerians: Ash for the PlayStation 2. I randomly found it on the page for Fear Effect, and looked into it. I found it somewhat interesting. I only have $8 left, and this one seller had it for just the right price, but with amazon, you only have the description of the item to go by. So emailing the seller got me this *They're a company*

Quote:
Hello and thank you for your email. Unfortunately all we have to go by
is the information that is listed on each product page. It would be
almost impossible to give you an accurate description of the item being
that there are several different formats and these orders are filled by
our brick and mortar stores. All items should include the original
artwork. Games should include the instruction manual. Please find our
used product guarantee below.

'In addition to our extensive catalog of new books, music, video, DVD,
software, video games and more, we also carry a great selection of used
CD, DVD, and video game products. Although these products are used or
"previously owned", we stand behind the quality of these products. If
the quality of the product doesn't measure up, we don't buy it, and we
won't sell it to you. Each product is inspected when purchased to
ensure
that you will receive a quality item. We will replace worn or broken
jewel cases, and we will not sell items with missing cover art.
Additionally, all used product at GoHastings.com is 100% guaranteed
against defect for 30 days from shipping date. Due to constantly
evolving inventory, prices and availability may change without notice.

Theres more, but it's irrelevant to the topic.

While this does sound nice, I still would like to know that I'm getting everything with my game.

What say you people of EV-GD? Should I trust these folks, or get Virtua Fighter REmix for the Sega Saturn?

Good question, they didn't say.

Looked around and couldn't find it. I just replied to the email, and asked.

EDIT:

Got this:

Hello and thank you for your email. Our return policy states all used product at GoHastings.com and Amazon.com is 100% guaranteed against defect for 30 days from shipping date. Due to constantly evolving inventory, prices and availability may change without notice.

I think they're safe. I'll order it and if it isn't to my liking, then GameStop will see me XD

You've probably already did this but...

A list of review of the game I believe. Seems to have gotten somewhat mixed reviews. Then again so did Killer7 an I loved that xp

Thank you for going to the trouble of doing that. I don't know of many people who would have.

When I found out about the series I went to Wikipedia, and IGN to get info on it. And the first one had I believe a 7.5 from them, while this one got like 5.5 or something.

I did order the game, and I am excited to see just how it is, as it's a new game series for me, just like D and Fear Effect.

Oh its nothing. Just a quick look on gamespot and the collection of reviews.

And I hope you find the game entertaining. Seeing as it's, what $8 I believe it can be more enjoyable than if it was $50.

I could care less about the game being good. As if it's bad, I can still add it to my collection =)

I really just care about the quality of the game. Case, manel, etc.
