Florescent green orbs narrowed to slits as Regin watched, unamused, as snow began to litter the sky, falling softly before melting as it touched the earth. Shaking haphazardly to rid himself of the white fluff distorting his black coat, he found himself darting for the protection of forest, almost sulkily watching the once green terrain.

 Mile lurked the edges of the forest, he layed on a large stump, over-viewing the terrain, he detested how the snow ruined his camaflouge, thus, hunting became hrader, he spent his days looking for a companion, and failing to do so.

Regin started slightly, sending snow tumbling off him, as he caught movement from the corner of his eye. Scowling he scanned the white land, almost missing the slight shift of vines, far too green to be a part of the winter wonderland. The scowl quickly slipped from his muzzle, only to be replaced by a soft, almost affectionate, grin. He knew only one ulaya with such a trait.

Mile rolled to face the winter wonderland, seeing a large black figure. He saw two orbs among the black pile of fur. Mile's depressing frown turned into a smile as he got off the stump, hopping off and happily trotting toward the figure, he sunk into the snow several times along the way.

A rumbling laugh escaped Regins’ throat as he watched Mile struggle through the snow, sinking knee deep several times. Taking pity on the other male he surged forward, gouging out a path as he forced his way through the snow. A few grunts of effort later Regin found himself finally facing Mile as a wave of awkwardness rolled over him. He’d only met this male only once before after all, and as his grin widened he found himself unable to place why he was so elated at seeing him again.
Glancing anywhere but at the other he hastily pushed forward, never one to stop what he had already started. “Ah, hello… again.”

Mile grinned. He ran a circle around regin before stopping next to him. "Hello, Indeed Mr. Regin!" Mile was estastic to see him again, it had been weeks since he'd seen any ulaya, including his daughter, who left to live on her own.

He couldn’t help but to chuckle at Miles. Never had he thought hed be the witness to what he had thought to be a straight-laced and upstanding ulayas’ antics. Giving Mile and over exagerated bow his eyes almost glowed with amusement, grin splitting his face, “The pleasure is all mine.”

Mile giggled at Regin, meanwhile getting closer to the stump he had been relaxing on earlier. "No, no , the pleasure is very much mine" Mile said playfully, his tail gave a twitch as a few snow-flakes landed on it.

Eyes trailed after the older male as he moved back towards his previous perch, Regin trailing behind, mentaly restraining himself from brushing snow off already white fur. It’s probably as soft as it looks. He thought idly.
Smile slowly slid from his muzzle, replaced with a slight frown; a simple downturn at the corners of his mought. He shouldn’t be thinking of Mile that way. A flare of guilt formed in the pit of his stomach as he looked at everything but the male before him.

Mile hopped onto the stump, waiting for regin to follow. "C'mon, get out of the dumb snow, it'll ruin your coat, silly~" He said more seriously then it sounded. He shook off all traces of snow off his body, leaving his vines marking's very visible. He closed his eyes for moment, for no aparrent reason, opening them back up, his magenta-colored eyes seemed to blink constantly. "Stupid snoeflakes on my eyes..."

Blinking Regin glanced down at the snow which had caked itself onto his fur; leaving his legs white and cracked looking. The stump, he learned, was far too small to hold the both of them and as he watched Mile blink snow from his eyes he had to bite his tongue to keep himself from playfully shoving the other off and back into the icy flakes.
As it was he found himself pressed far to close against the other atop the stump, and he found himself increasingly glad to be born with a darker colored coat as he felt his face heat up. Shaking his head as if the gesture could rid himself of his thoughts he tilted his head at the other. “Shouldn’t you be somewhere inside that forest? I was under the impression you had a kit to care for.” Just as quickly as it rose Regin squelched a small tinge of jealousy.

Mile's expression changed to a grin to a sad frown, his eyes flooded with emotion as Regin asked. "Me and Hanabi..." he said letting out a sniffle. "Me and Hanabi are no in each other's company anymore, she has left for independence, and I respect thatdecision..." A tear rolled down his face, wetting his white fur as it trailed down his face. "Anyways, that's a delicate subject right now." Mile laid himself out on the stump, giving regin a tad more room to move around on.

Regins’ fur bristled as his companions mood darkened. “I’m sorry.. I hadn’t meant to dredge up past things.” He’d be sure to keep his muzzle firmly shut on the fact that he was secretly relieved he wouldn’t be needing to tiptoe around a headstrong pup in the quest of obtaining this ulaya for his own.
He nudged Miles’ cheek, persuading tears away.

Mile smiled. "It's..alright." He said with a slightly happier tone. He smiled as he got nudged , He felt a shiver go down his neck as Regin nudged him, the kind you get when you get when you feel the most pleasurable of pleasures. He looked up at Regin and smiled. "Thanks, you didnt need to do that, but im glad you did..."
