It does matter. For instance, you and I will not agree on baptism and eventually we will argue until one of us leaves and starts a different church.

Luther was an inspired man. However, just because I disagree with practices of a body, I don't run away. I try to change them. Schism only hinders our mission.

I'm Baptist because I believe in all the reforms before the Great Awakenings in America and after that brought about my denomination. Also I agree with the charter at my church. Yes I do my research.
