The tattoo was shaped in the form of the Modiety of Silence's staff. He used it to silence anything that had grown of a problem of noise. His staff was shaped in the form of something that could easily hang onto something. The ball in the center was thought to hold countless souls of those he had stolen from. He had stolen their soul of noises, so, until that certain fox passed on, he or she would remain silent for the rest of their life.

Elder: Being able to communicate with the Modiety of Silence, the elder has the role of being the quietest out of all the tribe members. But, a special requirement must be made for the fox to become an elder. He/she must be mute in the beginning, and after he/she becomes an elder, that elder receives the ability to speak.

Shaman: The shaman helps the elder with connections from the Modiety of Silence. He/she has the role of being a shaman, and also the deputy of the tribe. The shaman and the elder respect each other well.

Hunters: Usually the hunters have a snappy type of attitude. Even if they are considered ranked into the hunters position because of how they can be sometimes, Hunters also have to have intelligence to be able to become a hunter. If there came a time when war broke out with another tribe, the would need intelligence to fight well.

Scouts: Able to go out onto far area of the territory, the scouts have an important role of rescuing other tribe members if they happen to be captured by another tribe. The scouts also serve as guards for the tribe. If any intruder of another tribe, or a rogue, wandered onto the tribe lands, they would be responsible for driving that fox out.

Gatherers: Helping with some of the things the shaman needs, The gatherers are one of the important ranks. They gather food, berries, herbs, and other things needed for the tribe. They also help with the hunters if they ever needed to go to the mountains for food.

Carers: The carers were thought to be the kindhearted of all the tribe members. They watch over kits and tell them stories and facts needed when they want to take on a rank. They are also in charge of protecting and defending the kits if a tribe war broke out. Usually they would take the kits somewhere safe and defend the shelter if any fox happened to know where they were.

Tribe Members: Tribe members are like a mixture of all the ranks put together, aside the elder. They help the other ranks if they are in need of assistance, and help with the basics of the tribe of fixing things up if the other ranks are to busy.

Apprentices: If a kit wishes to take on a rank then they would have to be apprenticed. A fox of that same rank would be chosen as their mentor, and teach them everything they need to know.
