Since inactivity is seem to be reaching our beloved Brotherhood, I have decided to come out with a series of discussions to keep things rolling.

First discussion: January 08's Monthly Collectables.

First, we notice the design of the sealed envelope, winged, and now shown backwards (Turned to the other side once the sealed envelope turns a thank you later), all and all, I like the new design.

The items for this month, as we all know, are the controversial Assassin Guise and the Masterpieces.

Personally, I like both, the lovely Adylene Covenant sports two Masterpieces items, while I decided to take a more... "Grim" appearence with two Assassin Guise items.

Controversy being, some poses of the Assassin Guise hold weapons, renamed to fit Gaia's standards, satisfying that way, hundreds, thousands, and maybe millions of people wanting guns in Gaia for a long time, personally, I'm ok with them, guns are PG13, otherwise we wouldn't see bloodstained machetes and more weapons.

Second Discussion: The lack of Christmas Plot Update.

As we all know, with every major event, comes a major plot update, it has never failed before, until Christmas '07.

We all saw the rather, insipid, outcome of the Halloween Event, and in spite of the outcome, H2K7 is proof of how big events should be conducted, it had it all:

- A massive forum board which involved "A War" between Gaians and Vampires, in a rather entertaining system (Which is debatable, I personally enjoyed the event)
- Manga Plot Update.
- MMVII (For a first try, I rather say it's a good try, but I'd rather see Gaia stick to the manga)
- 2 sets of items.

It was exciting, a lot of organizations were created and it kept us on the edge of our seat. (Sans the insipid outcome, which left a ton of questions I expected to see solved this Christmas)

Christmas came, and the Orphan Event was launched, it is innovative, with items exclusively for them, carolling in towns and the shops, ice skating in towns, all and all, a lot of good features to keep Gaians entertained for the holidays.

However, I can't help it but feel rather incomplete, for there is a lack of plot update, what has happened with Ian, Louie and Moira? We understand that now Vampires live among Gaians in peace (Which is quite hard to believe in my opinion) What has happened with Zhivago? What about the cure Edmund and Gambino said they would sell so they would become "Very Rich Heros"?

Discussion Points:

- Comparation between Christmas 07 and past Christmas Events.
- Lack of manga plot update.
- Loopholes left by H2K7.

Now, my Brothers and Sisters, discuss.

Well I know that in the GCD, most are saying that the new Assassin items are the vampires response to the hunter items brought out back in Halloween. Which when you examin it, really does make sense. A cloak to keep the sun out, guns with which to reenact past events from Gaia, as the collectiable states for itself.

Personally, I like the blasters from the Assassins the most. Small, easy to carry and they remind me of the blasters from Star Wars. Which is why I shall be looking for a "Han shot first" entry in the AA next week. As for the Masterpieces, well I dont have any attachment to them as of yet. Nothing in there really sticks out to me. Although the Shell I find rather interesting. Mostly cause I always remember that painting in Art class. Botticelli's Venus. Hoepfully I spelled his name right.

Oh, not by me. But I know that someone will probably try it. And if not, then I'll get to work on one.

As for the lack of plot update? I was disapointed. Very disapointed. Santa is still a cow, Timmy looks like one of the Aliens from Mars attacks, and I remember reading in an ask the Admins that Lanzer mentioned somehting about Timmy being involved, but nothings happened. He just looks creepier than ever. The orphans were cute, but I wanted somehting more than the Fanservice comic.

That...could definitly be fun. I think the good doctor is experimenting on him, and may be trying to make a brand new genetic strain of grombies.

Hey, looking back, whatever happened to LabtechX anyways? The last time I remember seeing him was when he injected that stuff into Gino. or maybe she is working for him?

I thought he got that way cause he got injected with a strain of the g-virus.

thats why I said strain. Remember that time when Gino started to act like his father? His hair even grew out longer, and he had much more confidence. maybe whatever they gave to Gino, well maybe it got contaminated or something when labtechX got it. LIke the grunny invasion? We've seen the results of what that did. Made people into Zombies and Grombies. What if that, combined with what was supposedly given to Gino made LabTechX into what he is today?

another reminder of the fact that I cant find a job.
