Blood dripping from a black and dark brown patterned pelt, flesh seemed to hang loosely upon the dark form that was missing part of her left upper lip, the bloody fangs exposed. A red-brown eye and a blind colored blue eye spied out from the drizzling blood on the females face.

For the blood that seemed to stream from the female, she felt no pain and no weakness from it. There was a piece of her front leg completely hanging down, but this female slowed down none, the skin exposed on her body and the scraps were just as common a plan fur on this she-wolf.

Kill, devour, rip, maim, slaughter, kill. Kill them all! this wolf that looked like death thought as her claws scrapped across the forest floor. With the amount of blood that dripped from the female she used that as a lure for any and everything she hunted. Most often then not, there would be something screaming it was there to help her. Psh, she needed no help, Hell she didn't feel anything that seemed to hit her. Okay, she felt it, but nothing hurt, it just pissed the femme off.

"Valdis, You're insane!"

A wolf had once informed the hell hound, but she didn't care as she chewed on the last remaining femur of another wolf, that was going to kill the 'sick' she-wolf that had bleed for miles. Valdis had never traveled with another after that, probably because any other wolf could smell death on her pelt, but the ill-tempered Valdis cared not.

Fiereza was calm in the darkness of the forest, unknown to her another moved through, slowly though the scent came closer. She lifted her head from the squirrel she was skinning and inhaled with a frown, this scent of death was different. She rose to her feet and left the half skinned creature where it was going in search of this new dying thing.

Fiereza loved skins and pelts, the feel of blood slowly sliding from them and the slight tearing of the muscles as she ripped them away from the rest of the carcass. She had quite the little collection, her favorite and best piece of 'art' was the one she wore. The thought that something large and dying was passing by made her wonder what type of pelt it was and if she could...No! Her mind gave a soft cry of protest. In her heart she knew that her little collection was wrong, she needed help to stop doing such terrible things...

Still...until she found help she would find pleasure, pleasure in taking another skin.

Spitting out the piece of sun-dried meat she had been gnawing on for the last hundred yards or so. The Undead appearing she-wolf looked around with her two toned eyes, the forest was never quite, she had learned that with the different preys she hunted. With the wolves she hunted too. Where there was a wolf, prey skippered off leaving the forest with echoes.

Lowered head and peeling her lips back, the sharp fangs of the hellish femme glimmered in the little beam of light that struck her shabby pelt, since there really wasn't much fur to see. Some wolves had thought Valdis to have mange, but they never had known that she had been like this since she could remember, and died one by one, night by night.

Nose wrinkling up as the fangs were exposed, the ears on the bleeding forehead moved about sharply and juttingly, something was nearby.

"Come out, show yourself, or we can do the alternative," her personal favorite. Hunting the scared little wolves was her passionate pass time.

Fiereza slid out of the darkness of the shadows and approached Valdis with a morbid sense of curiosity. She did not fear this wolf yet she thought perhaps it would have been wiser to do so. She examined the torn pelt and the fleshy bleeding wounds. It seemed she was too late to do any skinning on this one the pelt was ruined. "Pity..." She muttered to herself softly before sitting infront of the bloody female.

"What's the alternative?" She grinned curiously her bloodred eyes gazing at the other wolf. She inhaled and licked her lips lightly at the scent Valdis smelled like sun touched raw meat, not tainted yet. Her eyes dances down the others body examining how her coat may have once looked. Pity, pity, she didn't have any such pattern in her collection and she had to come across one ruined. She enjoyed stripes, spots, solid colors, but this one would have been pretty too.

Turning her head towards the dark black wolf, with the white skin over her like some sort of shaw that she had seen in another part of her life. Valdis turned her snarling face to the other, 'Pity?' Did that black meal just say pity to her, hell she just missed out on a game of chase. Looking at the other, Val declared, there would have been no chase with this wolf anyways. This one looked to be of different calibrations then those that had been her meals so many times before.

However, the bloody wolf knew the scent that had lured out this one. "You had came to take my life, haven't you?" the wolfess stated almost in a challenging tone.

Ah, but this one asked about the alternative, this was really a different wolf. One that might be very informative before Val laid her meat out for a jerky to chew on later that day. No, night was falling soon, there wouldn't be any killing for jerky till the morning.

"Well that is where others run and I chase them down for a meal, or snack in the day. Rather fun way to begin or end a day."

"Ahh a chase...yes...it is about that time..." She glanced around her and eyed the setting sun, it was indeed almost dinner. She had been lost in her skinning of that squirrel too busy skinning it to have thought to snack on it as well. She eyed the other wolf again.

"Perhaps...but it wasn't your life or even your flesh that I really wanted. I had hoped..." she eyes the torn up pelt and shook her head. "Such a pity...but thats alright I quite forgive you for rousing me anyway." She grinned softly at the female and for a moment she wondered if they might not share in the hunt, she could have the meat, and Fiereza would gladly take the pelt. Still she was not a social creature and this other one didn't appear to be sociable either.

Valdis didn't let her lips drop as the other spoke, listening to the other speaking the bloodied tail flickered with boredom. Well, truthfully, the hellhoud double wasn't hungry at this time, she had killed a small buck and had ate her fill. The blue pupil-less eye stayed locked onto the the black femme.

Time was irrelevant to one that looked as the undead appearing wolf did, she moved and slept where she wanted, hunted what and whomever she wanted, live as a loner was amazing. Besides, looking at the lynx pelt wearer, and hearing 'pity' whispered out of the other's maw. Valdis' nostrils flared again.

"If you didn't want my flesh, then what was it that you wanted? Because this 'Such a pity' you keep muttering is getting on my nerves and I would rather get back to 'traveling' then listen to the same words being spoken." Countless times had the ever bleeding wolf heard she was rude, but she never cared much about others feeling, since she for one couldn't feel anything, besides anger and boredom.

Fiereza grinned softly at Valdis and tilted her head in a curious manner. How impatient, how very vicious, this was exactly why she needed help. Fiereza for all her faults, despite her love of the darkness and ripping the hides from innocent creatures, did not wish to become as uncaring as Valdis. She WANTED very badly to be able to feel the things that others felt joy, sadness, and even pain. Still she had found no wolf who could aid her and the one infront of her obviously had worse problems then she herself.

"Well it is a pity...you seem to have such lovely coloration and yet it's quite torn and wasted...it will never do. I did not want you flesh you see, but your pelt. It's a ...hobby of mine." She held back a soft growl, she had been called obsessed, but she wasn't obsessed! If she had wanted to she could have given up her sport...couldn't she? Her gaze focused on the other once more and she gave a soft smile. "Now you know...now you can go...happy hunting." She grinned.

Valdis listened, for once in her life, as the other spoke. She collected hides. That was a new one, Valdis had been shown how to sun dry the meat of another for later chewing by another wolf, one that had taught her this after having her promise not to kill him. Valdis didn't even remember the others name, but that wasn't important, the wolf had got to keep his life and that was all that mattered to him.

With a twist of her maw, Valdis couldn't help but find this other's misfortune as a gift for her. "My pelt has never been a healthy one. For as long as I could remember it has been tattered and my nerves are shot. I only have the compulsion to rip the flesh from others, well not really their flesh, more the muscle from the bone. Some have called it an obsession, others called me a murder, and some even have called me a mer cannibal." None of which ever had bothered the female.

With a lower of her lips the fangs disappeared, all but the tattered left jaw, "You're right, I now know, good luck with finding more pelts for your collection," Valdis could tell that this wolf was one that she might find else where, but the would know have her scent in mind and leave her be. Anyone else that had an obsession with ripping the flesh off of another, was okay in the she-wolf's mind.

Fiereza was almost excited as Valdis spoke of her compulsion to rip flesh from bone, until she explained it in greater detail. This one killed and ate the flesh, while she herself may have eaten for hunger, but her true desire was the pelt. They were strangely opposite and strangely alike these two. Fiereza stared at Valdis and promised that she would find herself someone, somewhere, who could cure her of her malicious behavior before she became as bad as the wolf before her. Was it too late though, was she already as uncaring?

"You take pleasure in your task?" She questioned before the other had gone away, this could be their last chance meeting and Fie wanted to know. She was greatful that Valdis wished her luck. "If ever you come across a wolf who's coat is your equal I would ask of you to make the kill quick at the neck and leave the pelt for me." Fiereza knew she should not have the desire, but felt no guilt in asking the favor anyhow.

Having had her back turned to the other, she couldn't have seen the change in the crimson eyes, but the red-brown eye was turned to look back towards the dark pelt. This one held some sort of hope, hope that Valdis didn't really understand, but might have known at one point. No, she had shot nerves and an ill-temper, nothing else was on the femme's mind besides brutal murder.

"Some times, hearing their cries of agony tells me that there is such thing as nerves. Sometimes the pleas tell me that there are families, but one could say I'm just the walking dead. A hound that escaped Hell and has no intentions of going back anytime soon." Valdis stated with a flicker of her tail. Then the weirdest thing tickled her ears, did this wolf just ask her to leave one like her down in the woods.

Simple request, and besides, it was almost time for youth to be springing back into the woods. "I can do that for you," Valdis stated with almost no emotion, it was better then the snarl.

Fiereza nodded softly at Valdis explanation and stretched out. "I wish you luck in finding your pleasure then...and the things you desire...or require." At least Fie thought herself lucky enough to still have her own desires and pleasures. She enjoyed her collection with a relaxed attitude. Still Fiereza knew she was missing the rest of the things that made a being whole inside. She needed to understand things like family and love and ...compassion? She needed to understand and why other wolfs looked at her collection and her actions upon other creatures with horror or disdain.

"Thank You..." She murmured softly as Valdis was turned to leave. "I hope we may meet again...to share a hunt." It was indeed a 'hope' a desire that Fiereza had to observe and partake of the destruction of a life with one so much like her and yet so very different.

Looking at Fiereza, something inside of Valdis didn't settle well, but she wasn't going to press the matter. It was too late for the bloody wolf to go back, she had fallen from the paths of other long ago. The honesty was, at first she didn't like the killing of another in her species, but after a while even her mind became bitter with snide comments going back and forth over her head.

Long ago, too long for Valdis to remember, she had gone by another name and had family. However something had made her snap and this was the outcome. With the words from the black female still hanging in the air, the tattered and bloody wolf just could help but think.

She had no real desires, no real ambitions, she just went with basic needs. The need to run and feed. "I think they died a long time ago," she whispered, turning her head towards the ground.

With a quick movement, the red eye looked back towards the other, "You're welcome, and maybe so." Valdis might actually not mind hunting with this other wolf, but for a loner, that was against the rules. Rules she had set up seasons ago, but something made her say one last thing before walking off, "I'm called Valdis," something she hadn't done in quiet some time. Give her name out to another, not like like her.

"Maybe you'll find one..." She nodded softly at the torn up wolf. Fiereza wondered if it was possible for Valdis to feel such things and she wondered how much longer she herself had before she would become so unfeeling. It was coming though she knew it the feelings seeped away leaving only faint spikes of emotion.

"They call me Fiereza...I won't forget our meeting." She turned to head off back into the darkness and her pelt covered den. I will not forget you Valdis...I must remember what I must avoid becoming myself. It's time to find help...

Cold and distant, that was how things went and with a vicious looking smile, Valdis nodded to Fiereza. "I don't think I will either, Fiereza. Good bye," and with that the flopping down piece of skin swung as the right leg moved forward preparing to break into a deadly run. There was nothing else to say and this meeting of one that she would not being feasting on looked to have ended long before she actually had taken to walking away. The only thing left in Valdis' wake was that of a bloody pool.
