These are large and rather cramped caves where large groups of soldiers or Students practice fighting or in the case of shinobi Jutsu. These caves are deep underground and are lit using paper lanterns and candles. There are training dummies practice areas and sparing grounds. Be carefull because there may be many other people practicing in the caves.

Takari was so upset at the blind ninja she had gotten turned around and ended up in the training grounds, where soldiers and ninja were training. "well this is a fun situation i got myself into." She thought to herself her gloomy disposition forgotten as she watched the fighters around her ammused for now.

Takari began to practice her ninjutsu and shuriken techniques on a dummy. Her accuracy and seal speed were incridible for someone who was so young. After a while takari grew bored of training and sat down on a pile of loggs, she felt guilty about what she ahd done but that shinobi had angered her so much. "i should go find shikamaru sama." she added brightly standing up and jumping onto one of the near by roofs.

Shikamaru entered the cave and looked around trying to figure a good place to have his training finally deciding upon an area with many craggy rocks and stalactites." We will train here if you please my young one." Shikamaru said turning around towards the genin.

Takari nodded to shikamaru, although she didn't know what to expect. Is he going to use ninjutsu, on me or spar. Takari thought to herself her hand going to the kunai holster on her leg instictively. She wasn't a close range fighter, everybody she had trained with knew that she couldn't defend herself at close range, however ranged combat was an entirely different affair.
"yes sir.." Takari said slightly nervous as she looked at shikamaru she counted the number of steps he took measureing the range he was at just in case he tried any kagemane jutsu (shadow manipulation techniques.).

Mitzukai was watching the two from not to far away, sitting on top of a rock up against one of the cave walls. I didn't expect to see someone like Shikamaru down here, Mitzukai thought to herself. She had been here training earlier but now she was simply there to watch the others, and she expected training between Shikamaru and the Uchiha to be interesting.

Shikamaru suddenly became very serious and started analyzing this girl, taking into account her sharingan eyes, what he knew of her style, body language, even her hair style, trying to get all of the information he could about this girl, he skipped out on reading people's files out of laziness. " Ready or not," Shikamaru threw two kunai at her one aimed at her head the other at her abdomen.

((takari hasn't developed the sharingan.))
Takari saw both kunai and flung two shuriken at them knocking them away as she did so she leaped away from shikamaru putting alot more distance between them. while airborn Takari grabbed another couple shuriken and threw them as hard as possible at shikamaru both aiming for his chest and neck. She smirked wondering if he would catch the surprise she had among the shuriken. There were another two shuriken hidden within the shadows of the two visible shuriken. Hopefully she would catch him off gaurd using her shadow shuriken technique.

Shikamaru's eyes were cold and analytical as they observed every move she made from the way she threw her Shurikens to her dodging, she is at least smart enought to know Kage Mane is relitive to my distance, Shikamaru watched as she threw her next Shurikens, they were different, even if only slightly the way she threw these next Shuriken was different than last time, and then he spotted it, Shadow Shuriken Tecnique, Shikamaru lazily dodged the first Shurikens and caught one of the others from the shadows," not bad Shadow Shuriken Jutsu takes alot of skill for one as young as you to have become that good at it is outstanding," Shikamaru threw the Shuriken back at her and maded his signature sign, his shadow running towards her with speed thinning out in order to obtain maximum distance .

Takari quickly did the subsitution technique letting the shadow and the shuriken hit the replacement. She dissapeared for a breif moemnt appearing to the left side of shikamaru. Takari began doing her seals which were relatively fast for a gennin Serpent, horse, boar, tiger. "Katon:goyakuu No jutsu" She Shouted bringing her thumb and forefinger to her mouth and breathing. There would be a blast of fire comeing from her mouth aimed directly at shikamaru the jutsu was so well controled it formed into a ball before fireing directly at shikamaru.
Normally it would incinerate just a close area but takari had enough practice that she could preform a distance variation of the technique. Takari stood there breathing heavily, this technique was something no normal gennin should know, much less control to the degree takari could. She panted hard lowering her hand the explosion blinding her with debries and wind, which left her wide open for a counter attack.

Shikamaru looked amazed," didn't calculate that into this, Shikamaru also used a substitution to get incinerated but his was a large metal ball filled with kunai and explosive tags, Shikamaru had gotten better, this came from one of Ten-Ten's old scrolls that he had kept to himselfbefore leaving Konoha, Shikamaru appeared on the ceiling standing there with a ciggarette in his mouth, he had become addicted afetr Asuma's death." Good luck with that one my young friend." Shikamaru said taking a drag of his smoke.

Takari heard a seondary explosion and saw various kunai comming out of the cloud. "Shoot." Takari said aloud diving into a pile of nearby rocks, to provide her with cover, until the barrage of kunai ended. She didn't dodge completely from the attack and ended up having a couple kunai burring themselves in her arms and legs. She pulled them out sitting against the rocks breathing hard still not recovered from the massive ammount of chackra she had used with that katon jutsu.

Shikamaru winced at the explosion of his Kunai bomb, he wasn't prone to loud noises and this was especially loud in the deep cavern they were in," Loud noises bother me why can't explosion be quieter," Shikamaru said while taking a drag of his Ciggarette. He then jumped from the ceiling back to the floor near the young Shinobi reaching into his shuriken pouch and drawing a strange blade with a note attached to it looking like an explosive tag," You must always be on guard, even if injured an enemy will not take the time to watch you pull out those Kunai," Shikamaru said while forming the Kage Mane sign again, his Shadow creeping across the ground quickly towards the injured shinobi.

Takari smirked using one of her powerfull genjutsu, to try and throw shikamaru off of her for a brief moment. She used a false surrounding technique to give the illusion she had stayed put after pulling out the kunai. She had in fact feignted behind shikamaru and Tried throwing another 4 shuriken at him. The illusion would only last a few seconds before takari was out of chackra completely.
Whats the point i'm weak as it is. she thought to herself breaking the genjutsu's focus allowing the shuriken to buzz through the air and probably alert shikamaru to the back attack.

Shikamaru let out a small laugh as he recognized the Genjutsu," not bad for one so young, you really are full of surprises," Shikamaru suddenly heard the Shuriken and jumped out of the way, forming one seal with the knife in his hand he released the Genjutsu. He then threw the strange blade not at Takari, but at her feet more specifically her shadow, and thats when it became clear this was no ordinary blade it was Asuma's Chakra Blade it draws out the nature of one's Chakra and in Shikamaru's case allows the Shuriken to capture an enemy with Kage Mane.
