i am a member of the p.t. team i am also a step higher than that im a member of the raider team (it is a more advanced work out than pt team. has to meet certain requirements) ive been trying out for raider team for three years this is the first year i finally made it ! but this team isnt really a team i mean its like everyone is against eachother there are liars, backstabbers, and gossipers. this is a highschool team i know but this is also a military school. i joined thinking that i would be apart of basically a family these people are full of crap. i dont know if i should leave or not. it not what i thought it was but my mom is so into it she doesnt want me to quit. i dont know what to do. help?

well ren, i dont know much about the ROTC program... but i DO know about studying in a private schooling environment... the guys that im staying with right now are the same guys who i've lived with [cause i stay at the institute the whole week and come home during the weekends] for the past 5 years... and trust me bro, it was hard as heck to understand why some of them do what they do... but ya know what bro, i guess you gotta give it time... let them get used to you and stuff... i know that might not make sense since THEY are the ones with problems... but i think you should stick around and show them exactly what they are supposed to be... as you have said "a family"... maybe they forgot that... and maybe you are the one who can give them that reminder... if it still doesnt work out... then i'd advise something different...
