((Yes, I intend to "RP" my youngest two together, as there's not much in the way of RPers around. >.>; ))
Setting: The cliffs are almost sheer; and the rivers and streams fall from the top in many shimmering, dancing veils of light. There are infinate nooks and crannys, and even full cave systems hidden behind them; and there are many pools on the way down, surrounded by grass and wild flowers. The top is similarly astrewn with vegetation; here the grass is very lush and delicious. It's a small haven with a fantastic view.
Note: Some of this won't be written from the point of view of Friahna, then Kahn; I find it easier to write interaction in one go. But I shall make sure each post is a decent size.

The tiny foal was trying to climb the cliff's face. She shook her head in irritation; determined that her lack of wings wouldn't stop her from reaching the top of seeing the view. She pulled herself onto one of the grassy plateus, where a small deviation from the main waterfall created a small pool, and kept the plant life lush and fresh. Friahna smiled and tore at the grass; it truly was delicious. Actually, she thought that this was a good place to rest for a while. The view here was good, even if not what she knew it would be when she reached the top; the air was clear and the grass delicious. The pool was perfect for her to dip her hooves into; and the waterfall small enough for her to pass underneath it, although the weight of the water still tried to push her under. She played in the pool for a little while; enjoying the feeling of the water in her fur, cooling her after her climb so far and the hot sun.

Kahn stood close to the edge; peering over at the world below, his eyes wide. He had snuck away from his mother again and was now spell-bound by the view; the sound of rushing water, the lush grass beneath his tiny hooves- so much to see, to experience! He felt excitement well in his chest and spread his small wings out, balencing himself carefully so he could examine the view without worry. A small movement caught his eye; and the youngster leaned out a little further, using his wings to keep himself carefully balanced. He wasn't strong and couldn't fly far; but his skill at making the most of his wings was incredible for his age. His blue eyes narrowed; it looked to be a small foal, half-way down the cliff. She didn't have wings- which was odd to his mind, for he had never seen anyone without wings before. Filled with curiosity, Kahn let himself tip off the cliff's top and opened his wings fully; catching the updrafts and moving from one to another, slowly drifting down towards the other foal.

Friahna finally bored of her play and sprawled in the sun; letting the warmth soak into her soak fur. She let out a noise of contentment as steam started to rise from her soaked form. She was admiring the view when a shadow passed over her, catching her eye. Curious, she looked up; squinting against the bright sunlight. A grey pegasus, probably not much older than her, was drifting down. Friahna frowned and pouted. Was it too much to want a bit of time to herself?! She got up and melted into the shadows of the cliff, moving along until she was obscured by a patch of bushes.

Kahn noticed the youngster- a female, he was sure of it- get up; and when he next looked down, she was gone. He frowned; she couldn't have disappeared, and the youngster could quite clearly see there was no way for her to leave that plateu without him being able to see her. The only rational explaination, then, was that she was hiding. Conscious that that meant she would probably want to be alone, Kahn was thoughtful as he landed. He didn't want to intrude; but he did so want to meet someone close to his age. He called out. "Um... If you want me to leave, I will! I just came down to meet you!"

Friahna scowled at the grey youngster. How dare he be so polite! Closer to, she could see that even though he was a little larger than her, he was also a little younger; not by that much, though. His fur was a lot lighter than the dark grey it had appeared from below; in fact, where the sun hit it it was nearly white. He had a really wierd face, though; tinted a sort of yellow colour, with wierd spots on his cheek. Friahna pulled a face and stuck her tongue out; she was much prettier, even if she didn't have wings! But she was struck with a thought as he turned away; his wings and tail hanging down, looking dejected. He could help her to reach the top! "Uh, hang on!" She leaped through the bushes she was hiding behind as he turned back; wings and tail held high, eyes shining. "I s'pose you can meet me." She held her head high as if she were royalty, doing him a great honour.

Kahn blinked; he was unsure of how to respond to the youngster. "Uh, okay... Well, I'm Kahn." He extended one front leg and bent the other, creating a nice bow which he felt himself nearly ruin as he almost lost his balence. He thought he managed to get up okay, however; and smiled at her. "And who do I have the pleasure of making the aquitence of?" He was showing off a little; showing what long words he knew! But he had never met someone his own age before and was eager to convince her she wanted to be his friend.

Friahna tilted her head to one side; thoughtful. He seemed okay, actually; she had expected someone like her stupid brothers or selfish sister, but they would never know such long words, and they definately wouldn't bow to anyone. She shrugged; she could always hide, hardly anyone could find her when she did. Except for that big Pegasus; but he had let her have some food anyway, so she didn't mind that so much. "My name's Friahna!" she announced; filled with pride. She liked her name; she thought it sounded shadowy and mysterious, just like her. "I made it up myself." She nodded to confirm what she said.
