Things had been rather quiet for the male, and as he awoke that morning, he went out of his way to get out of the muggy forest around him, and he sought to look for other creatures in a more open atmosphere. It was the first time in days that the sun had creeped out of the gray sky, and Ariston knew that was a sign that Spring was coming. Or at least, that's what he kept telling himself.
Ah Spring, what a wonderful season. Not only did all of the terrible Winter mush fade away, but everyone was 'busy' in the Spring, and it was Ariston's most favorite time! It did make him laugh though, since families started blooming out especially in the spring time. But everyone was happier, and when everyone was happy, that meant that everyone would also go out of their way to be social! And being social could mean a bundle of things, many in which Ariston enjoyed himself!
Yawning slightly after his thoughts, Ariston decided to move quickly out of the darkened forest, since it was NOT fitting for his current mood. In a matter of minutes, he was able to find an open field to relax in. The grass so was brown and ugly, and Ariston scoffed slighty at the sight. Hopefully the dreary atmosphere would dispose of itself and leave, since it was not a fitting one for him to enjoy!

She had smiled brightly upon waking up, finding the sun shining down through the trees to be a welcoming sight over the dull, dreary, greyness of winter. Spring was on the way and that meant beautiful flowers and warm sunshine. It meant that others would be coming out and she would, perhaps, find someone pleasant to converse with.
That smile still in place she stood up, shaking the bits of leaves and grass out of her tail and mane before brushing her nose gently against her side. Once she was certain that all was in place she wandered away from her comfort, heading towards a small clearing where she recalled seeing a few patches of grass trying to grow back. It would make a good morning snack, if anything... And the sun would be warmer there.

It took Ariston a second, but his eyes instantly glided on the mare that also walked into the clearing. She was so pure looking, and her coloring was very similar to his. She was blonde and white, though her shade of hair looked gold! There was something radiant about her, and Ariston of course approved of that. With a confident grin, Ariston strut forward, so that he was soon approaching the pretty mare. How lucky was he? First beautiful weather, and THEN a beautiful mare?!
"Good day to you." he then said, while stopping and admiring her for a second. He then bowed his head in a very polite manner, before bring his purple eyes back onto hers. "What is your name, lovely?" Lovely WAS the perfect word to describe her, and Ariston was smiley at himself for his perfect word choice. "My name is Ariston." And with a dramatic flip forward, he swung his hair about so that it was positioned neatly on the side of his face. He really was becoming a pro with his dramatics, but Ariston knew they looked good!

She blinked, turning her head shyly away from the stallion. She had seen the wings and horns that she had been warned against... But he seemed so friendly. Smiling, she glanced back at him for a brief moment before looking quickly away once more, trying not to laugh softly at his antics.
"Katharos..." She murmured softly, surprised by the sound of her voice in the clearing as if his hadn't been enough to catch her off guard. "It... Is a pleasure to meet you... Ariston."

Ariston maneuvered himself around the mare, and chuckled as his eyes danced from her hair to her tail. "Now, why are you being so shy m'lady? I am only hear admiring the view. No harm in that, right?" Once he had made a circle around Katharos, he stopped in front of her and continued to hold a usual grin.
"It doesn't seem as if it is really a pleasure for you to meet me." he then said, with a confident head raise. "I would be happy to make this experience pleasurable for you, so please advise me on what I can do." Ariston was pleased from the mare's overall appearance, and when he was pleased, he went out of his way to make others pleased! "I am here to help, and I can't leave a beautiful mare off to herself now, can I?" His voice was loud and proud, and his expression was even more believable. Ariston just LOVED hearing himself talk, and he would have continued talking if it weren't for his snappy brain! "It would be a sin for me not to aid you."

"A... Sin?" Her eyes went wide for a moment as she shook her head, golden strands of mane fluttering against her neck before falling still as she did. "Oh, no, never." She would do anything to keep others from sinning... Well, almost anything, she supposed. She would not sin herself.
"The clearing is very pretty..." That had to be the view he was speaking of, wasn't it? Wait. Beautiful? her? "Me?" She blinked as she looked up at him once more, feeling her face warm beneath her soft, white coat. "I... Am just a simple mare..."

The stallion wanted to chuckle, since Katharos was really someone interesting. She was speaking as if she were nothing, and it confused the stallion very much. But after a few moments, Ariston started to realize that this mare seriously didn't believe him! Was she crazy?! "A simple mare? You just sinned by saying that!" he then said, while flipping his hair out of his eyes excitedly. "How could you even compare yourself to simple? You go far beyond simple, my dear. You should make stallions and even other mares beg you for your presence!" A figure of royalty.. yes, that fit in with the mare's very regal appearance!
Ariston then moved in closer, since that was only natural for him. "How must I open those little eyes of yours to see the truth? Come now, you must love some aspect of your beauty. Everyone is able to love some physical trait about themselves." The stallion then flipped his tail happily, before turning his head diligently at the female once again. "Or maybe.. your personality is not as extravagant as mine?" That was a large possibility, wasn't it? Ariston always forgot that not everyone was as 'open' as he was. "You must get all of the stallions in this land!"

"When compared to others I am simple. My coat is white and my mane a plain, solid color. Even the few adornments that I have are modest..." She hadn't even really wanted them, truth be told... But now that they were where they were there was little she could do to remove them and they were lovely.
She looked at him once more for a moment before taking a shy sidestep away from his advance. "I... Enjoy knowing that my appearance pleases others even if I do not know why... I believe that it makes the Spirits smile to know that one who belongs to them is admired so."

Hmm.. Ariston's first tactic wasn't working so well, so he decided to shock her with a different approach. That was his favorite anyhow, since he loved making other's question things about themselves. The mare also had a strange reaction when he mentioned sinning, and that left him with many opportunities. "Well, the Spirits also smile at me, you know. Since I do the important duty of being the Sin of Vanity."
Ah yes, he just loooved saying that. "How do you feel about that? Do you know of us Sins?" For some reason, Ariston felt compelled to concentrate on his Sinhood, since many were either fascinated or disgusted with the subject area. He was beyond curious to see what this particular mare would say, since she had already disregarded the act of sinning just moments ago. "Now, why do you belong to the Spirits?" Was his next question, and Ariston knew that things were finally getting interesting.

At first she hadn't seen it but now... Maybe... There was something in his gaze that reminded her a bit of what she had been warned of kalonas. Her tail gave a slight flicker as she took another slow step away from him, delicate golden chains tinking together when they touched.
She held her head high, taking a deep breath before speaking slowly. "The Good Spirits have.... The Good Spirits have entrusted me to uphold the Virtue of Chastity. If you are a Sin than it is the Evil Spirits that smile upon you..."

CHASTITY? That stallion let out a hefty laugh before bringing his breath back onto the female. "My goodness! It all makes sense now!" Why else would the mare be so peculiar towards his actions? "Evil Spirits, ey? Well damn. I am thankful that they surround me, for I have become something beautiful amidst the many uglies I see daily." And seriously, Ariston wasn't trying to impress any upper Spirits anyways, he could care less about that spiritual stuff!
"And do you uphold your virtue? Well wait.. why am I even asking? That's a dumb question, isn't it?" Ariston then walked a few steps forward while in deep thought. "So, does that mean you can never experience some of the great things that those spirits place upon you in the first place? Like sex!!" And with that, he quickly swerved back towards the female, while holding a raised brow. "Wow, how do you live?!" Now he was more confused if anything! "Being a virtue would really suck!"

Her tail gave a nervous twitch as she felt his warm breath on her, trying hard not to tremble at the thought of that warmth. "I... Experience many great and... Great and wonderful things that the Spirits place on this earth. F-fornication and lewd, bawdy behavior is... Frowned upon." She nodded slowly, meeting his lofted brow with one of her own. "... How can one miss what they have never had? I enjoy my life as it is in service to the Spirits.

Ariston sneered suddenly, though his face was not toothy or mongrel in any way. If anything, he was completely disgusted, since he couldn't decide if he should feel sorry for this mare, or if he should believe any of her nonsense. "Bad behavior? You call being natural animals bad behavior? Well, what kind of argument do you have for your case, because I can both show and tell the many reasons why procreation and sex are not in any way termed with bad behavior." As if! Everyone that was alive did that sort of thing, because it was awesome!
And with that, the stallion moved himself away from the mare, so that he could get a better and more casual view of her. "Your service is for nothing. What exactly can you be servicing if you aren't doing anything?" He was still frowning at her, mainly because he couldn't understand her!

"It is necissary in some cases, yes, but not necissary for all." She saw no reason for her to partake in such acts. Her body was her own to do with as she would and she chose to dedicate it to the spirits in whatever way they would guide her. They had chosen this path for her and she would not question it.
"Do you never question your own actions, Ariston? Do they have meaning to you or do you do them just to do so?" She tilted her head slightly so that she could get a better look at him as well, head still held high in a way that seemed to catch the sun's rays almost perfectly, letting the light glint off of the golden chains around her neck as well as the golden strands of her mane.

"Question my actions? Why would I question them if I am always right? I do what I wish and have no doubts along the way." Was it really that complicated for the mare to understand? Ariston was Ariston, he was always wonderful and perfect, just as his actions were.
"If you think too hard about your actions in life, you wast your time worrying too much, and you forget about all the fun times you COULD have had." he paused slightly, while shaking his head at the mare. "You are overthinking what a body is, when really they are only here to please us you know. Life is better when the mind and body are one." Ariston could never deny that!
