This is a shrine created by kawaki village, honnoring the Sage of Six Paths. The creator of the Shinobi world, it is believed to be a sacred sight, There are many monks who watch the shrine keeping it in pristine shape.

There is a legend among the monk's and local villagers, that there are six paths up the mountain leading to the top, and that nobody but the sage himself made it to the top and came back again. Many who have tried to follow the sage have failed, while the others were never the same again.
