The song once again blaring through Majik's sound systems was invoking a very slow sort of two steps forward, one half step back, two steps forward, one half step back dance from the boy as he made it to the front entrance. He was expecting a 'friend' over soon; truth be told, his desperation to be with people TWENTY FOUR SEVEN had sent him to an all new low. The freaky barely friended brown haired goat girl was coming over for dancing.
Whether or not she knew it, Harper intended to instruct her in the beautiful art that was DANCE. And see how bad she was at it to begin with lest he lose all faith in female-kind altogether. Sunny, the only one of his loquacious guardians actually present at the moment, was behind the club's new bar marking off what looked like stock records and other such pre-business busyness. He'd volunteered to keep an eye on the kids, and definitely the most trustworthy and honorable of the bandmates, he would ensure there would be no or at least very little blood in whatever goings on that may soon commence.
(( SHUSH IT I cannot find another song on youtube and if I need to change something let me know cause I took many liberties yes! ))

((LOL, she totally would come over. She's desperate for people to be friends with her.))
Irelia had been listening to a lot of terrible 80's hair bands and had happily loaded her new cell phone with her horrid music, hoping to overload her mind with strange thoughts. Her new favourite song was This and she had been compelled to play it continuously. When Harper called her to come to the club Irelia had been surprised, and flattered. Usually she was the one calling (or rather, jumping) Harper and making him play with her, but now he wanted to play with her too!
...Or his parents were making a dreaded, sneaky playdate, Irelia thought with a smirk. Whatever the case, Irelia had made it to the door of the club, and she pushed it open.
Greeted with the onslaught of even worse music, Irelia grimaced and turned off her headphones and hung them around her neck (due to her large ears, she had a kickin' set of nice large headphones, not the silly earbuds.
She saw Harper dancing all alone in the middle of the floor, lost in thought.
Sneaking over to Harper, she darted in front of him.
"May I cut in?" She asked, giggling.

Harper looked briefly shocked, and for an even briefer moment annoyed, but it was all quickly washed away by a sly grin while he lifted his hands up without a single word and took hers.
Sunny glanced up from his station and cleared his throat happily, "Oh, hellow Irelia! Let me know if you kids want somethin to drink, alright? ... Heh, nothin too hard though.. grape juice.. pomegranate ex... beer.." He was clearly somewhat distracted by then and had turned around in to the back of the bar kitchen-like area to retrieve some beer from one of the crates that'd recently been delivered.
The song playing, annoying as it may be to Irelia, Harper thoroughly enjoyed dancing to and had done so many times that he was quite 'expert' at it and more or less eager to show off. Shoulders swaying to the beat and his body what he considered in perfect sync to the music, for the moment he was simply enjoying having someone to dance with. The song ended quickly, though, and rather than have something else play there was a sudden silence.
"Hey."

Irelia hadn't had much of a chance to try and dance with someone who knew what they were doing. The last dance she had been in had been at one of her father's friend's wedding, and she ending up dancing in the Father/Daughter dance with Asher, who only knew dance moves from 1703. Which made them look rather odd.
Trying to follow Harper's lead, Irelia bopped along to the music, not really moving her feet at all. She was too afraid to actually move and perhaps make a fool of herself, but she looked odd just standing in place as well.
Try as she might, she couldn't get her hoofs to move. It wasn't as if she had any problem moving deftly, she could clamber up trees by taking a running jump, and scale mountains with little difficulty, balanced like a cat.
When the music stopped, Irelia stopped moving, and happily regarded the silence.
...And then regarded the fact that Harper was still holding her hands and she didn't mind.
((OK SO THEY ARE PRETEENS NOW. MK?))

His mouth had shuffled into the left corner of his face in a thoughtful purse, while he stared at her hooves. "Don't like to dance, goat-girl?" He asked her quickly, soon realizing what she had and letting her hands go a before he could give an awkward twitch. "That was the last song on that playlist. I kinda figured you wouldn't like cool music so if you tell me what you want..." He motioned for her to follow him and walked over to the main stage where, among many instrument hookups, was a dj booth. "But I was kinda hoping you'd dance, which is kinda why I - Sunny! - invited you over. Need help or somethin?" He grinned. He knew it, he thought, smug look returning.

Irelia snorted.
"Like your music is any better, jeez. Its all 'crunk dis and crunk dat, where be my hos'. So if you like degrading, idiotic music, and that's your taste, fine. I'm not saying my music is any better but at LEAST turn on something that is vaguely musical. I can stomach hip hop but not rap. Gah."
Irelia made a face, and followed Harper to the DJ station.
"I... dance. I'm just afraid of stepping on people, is all. I don't really know how to do it, other than feeling the beat."

Harper stared at her with an utterly blank expression. "Where be my ho's? Degrading? Wow. You spend way too much time with like. I don't know. The boring kids at school or something. Must be why you can't dance." He smirked to himself and messed around with some buttons, setting a cd in and turning on the next song.
"Better? Come on Irelia. I'll teach you how to dance. Maybe we can work off some of that geek in you. 'Course you'll owe me big time, is your dad like rich or something? And you can't tell my girlfriend!"
Amazingly, he was quite completely referring to Jace, his newest most awesomest bestest butchest boyfriend ever.
He held out his arms expectantly for her, already shifting his weight back and forth to the new beat, lip syncing in an utterly loveably dorky way to the lyrics he knew every word to.

Irelia laughed at Harper's ability to make fun of someone, and then act like a total dork himself, and followed Harper on to the dance floor. She didn't really know what to do when she got there, but tried to follow Harper's lead, singing along to the lyrics as best she could.
Perhaps it helped make you dance better? Irelia couldn't tell.
Throwing her arms in the air, Irelia quit thinking and just tried to move her body in a less conscious way. She had no idea if she looked awesome or incredibly stupid, but she didn't really care.

When she started loosening up Harper took only a few seconds to examine her moves, deciding despite however bad or good she may look dance, no matter how horribly executed, was something to enjoy. He'd say the same thing about music, except horrible musicians made him want to commit homicide, and that's another story.
Such went on for awhile until he felt the need to engage her again, and went to catch her arms and twirl her around. "Better, goat-girl. Now all you need is some cool shades and a pop nickname."
"Why doncha' teach her how to tango, Harper?" Came Sunny's obtrusive and sudden voice from his position by the bar from before; only this time, armed with a beer. "It's always so cute when you and your mom start giggling and dance around-"
"Shut up, Sunny!"

Irelia giggled at the comment.
"What would be a good pop nickname? Oh, I'm bad at this sort of stuff, you choose!"
Irelia flew out of the twirling and struck a pose. Once you got over the fact that you were dancing, it was pure fun. When Sunny spoke, Irelia suddenly became self-conscious and turned bright red.
"Tango? Isn't that what they danced in those old black and white movies?" Irelia asked, straightening out her dress.
...Eyeing Harper's clothing, Irelia decided that she didn't particularly want to go punk, but did decide that having multicoloured hair was really cool.

Harper shook his head at her, "Gotta pick your own half the time, yaknow. Just' cause ... well, you know yourself better than I do, right?" He blinked, and let out a sigh. "Yeah. I guess. Some stupid dance my mom taught me."
"Harper loves it." Sunny helpfully chimed in. "He takes it very seriously."
Harper rolled his eyes again. "Yep. S'my uncle. Y'want him? Look, I'll show you if you want, but I'm warning you, it's really stupid."
