Yeah, that's right. The prime example of a profitable 'large corporation' in America. Low prices, no questions asked. Discounts galore. Anti-Union stance. And, in the hearts and minds of some, morally bankrupt.

So~...Why haven't we talked about this, again?

I mean, yeah, sure; edible underwear, male virgins, and lolicon are all fine topics and all- particularly the lattermost topic- but what does everyone think about Wally-World? Love the prices? Hate the policies? Lots of cheap stuff? Lots of cheap labor? Love them? Hate them? They did sell Brokeback Mountain against the American Family Association's reccomendation, after all. ~.^

For those who are unsure, or aren't quite 'in the know' about Wal-Mart, here's the one place where a fairly biased opinion could be torn from the fabrications of both those who love and those who hate just about everything: Wikipedia.

Wikipedia: Wal-Mart

For the record, though, sometimes I wonder if Wikipedia's a little too unbiased. Seriously. Just look up 'the Secret' on Wikipedia and you'll find a grand synopsis on a crap-happy DVD that my mom borrowed from a friend at work. I mean...Sheesh, remind me to make a topic on it. >.<

..Y'know what? Screw that, I'm going to make the topic right after this one.

Going back on track here: Wal-Mart. Incredibly awesome, or the scum of the earth? Discuss, please. I'm sticking with Penn and Teller on this one. =x

Wal-Mart appeals to neither my personal tastes nor my lack of morals, and, as such, I do any shopping that need be done elsewhere. That's it. Wal-Mart plays no role (at least no direct role; if you want to argue about how Wal-Mart's market shares have somehow influenced the disappearance of all the music and movie stores that used to be around here, you're going to have to point it out to me because I don't see it) in how I go about my life, and I've been getting through life without worrying about those stores just fine. Thank you very much.

Where I live, the closest Walmart is at least an hour away. I have no need or desire to go and buy stuff there. The last few things I bought there just broke immediately, and so much of their stuff is utter crap.

So...I just don't buy stuff there.

Ebay, on the other hand....<3
