So, at my school, there is this guy I like. And he happens to sit right next to me in the computer lab. So we were talking about bands, and when I'm around the guy's I like I start to ramble while stuttering, and I get really clumsy.
So I'm talking to him, and it went something like this: Him: Do you like Guns N' Roses Me: Well... uh.. yeah... I guess. I-I like that one song, you know -hums a bit- Him: Yeah... right... -whips out his iPod- Have you heard this song? Me: Um... uh... I... uh... don't know (I totally knew the song, but I forgot that I did) Him: Hear. -sticks IPod in my ear- Me: Oh, yeah, I, uh... know this song, yeah. Oh, I uh... need... uh... -gets up to go to the printer and trips and stumbles, but mostly manages not to fall on face- Him: -silent staring-
So I come back, and my chair is gone because stupid Kayla just pulled it out to sit somewhere else instead of using her own. So I get another chair and the aisles are pretty small, and it's him on the end, then me, and then other people. So I tried to get my chair past him, but it got stuck.
Him: Getting frustrated there? Me: Um.. uh.. Him: Do you like Ozzy Osborn? Me: I.. uh... liked him better in the bl-bl-bl-black -ssa-sa-beth. Him -has already looked away and is no longer paying attention to me.
As you can see, Taka embarresed herself, a lot. -headtodesk-
Anything like this ever happen to you?

Awww, Taco Meaaat, you're not stupid. Don't talk about yourself like that. *Hugs*
To be honest, any love-interest who's worth your time will think that acting that way is sort of cute. I mean damn, I was sitting here like "Awww, Takaaaa" the whole time I was reading that. XD Clumsiness is adorable.
I know how you feel, though. I used to trip up really badly at my old school. Buuut that was basically because no one there liked me, and looking back, I don't care for their opinions anyway. (One's pregnant by a 21-year-old, one's bf was shot or something [dunno the details, to be honest], one lost her virginity over a bet, etc. Who needs losers like that saying whether you're cool or not?)
(No offense to anyone in here who is a teenage mother. It's just that the girl I mentioned is a total slut-bucket, and has been since 7th grade.)
You should really work on your self-esteem, you know? You're a sweet girl. You should like yourself more. If you just pretend to be cool and confident, it'll start to come naturally, y'know? Pretend you're an actor when you're at school. (Don't go so far as to do things that will get you in trouble, though I think you probably know that.)

D: Aw. Taka. *hug* It's okay. Most of the time that eventually goes away.
I tend to stutter when I start to fall for someone. Not when I first meet them or anything. But after I fall for them, it stays for a few days, and then I goes away.
One guy I really liked last year, Doug, said he thought it was really cute. ^///^; Which made me feel alot better about it.
And then there was this one guy who liked me, who was in general really clumsy, but he tended to trip alot more around me. I thought it was adorable.

I just tend to say annoyingly stupid things. It just as bad, if not worse than studdering. At least when you're studdering, you seem nervous or clumsy or maybe you normally speak like that. I just sound like a retard. sweatdrop

Aww, Taka! :C *huggles* It's okay. I think it's actually kind of kewt. :3 Just don't worry about it and you'll be fine. I've been trying that and it actually sort of works. C: But really, don't worry.
I tend to not say anything...>.>
Well actually, I tend to look away, blush, have a full on adrenaline rush, and then I freak out really bad when I just see somebody that I like. D:
It's pretty bad. But they usually just see me quickly looking away or something and I dunno, I think people think I'm really snotty or something. :/
And I saw the guy I like today twice out of the class we have together. :0 It was pretty weird...I saw him going to 4th hour, and then after 4th hour. I quickly looked away both times, but kept him in my periphreal (sp?) vision and saw him looking at me, so maybe I'll work up enough courage to wave at him and maybe manage a smile. That sounds so terrifying! D:

I remember those days. Then i just lost myself and every person I thought I had a chance with, I confessed to. And it makes me all the happier. Even when it doesn't work out. xP

I feel lucky. I can talk to the guy I like really easily. We're kinda friends now though, so its easier. But yeah. I just get all giddy around him, and whenever he pokes me, I jump. But I jump when anybody pokes me. He just appreciates me more.

@Asashina: Well I'm glad I/m not the only one. And I sure hope so ^^ -isprobablynot-
@Val: But I dun want to be adorable, I want to be hott. gonk
And honestly, he -may- not be worth my time. Considering it's always a flirt fest between him and Kayla scream
-cough- Yeah... I really should work on my self esteem. Although one time I tried to act cool, and I accidently ran into a locker. sweatdrop
@Grinny: XDD I wish a guy would trip around me. -has only ever had three one guy like her-
@Kat: In grade six, whenever I liked a guy, I would always start insulting them, and I didn't mean too... Actually... I still do that sometime.... Well, you're not the only girl who sounds like a retard. XDD
@Nerdy: If he keeps looking at you, he might like you, -nudge nudge- Or you could always do the simple hey nod, where you kind of lift your head a little in their direction, before looking away. I do that a lot.
@Volly: Confess? -istooafraidforthat- That could explain why I've never had a boyfriend... XDD
@Soda. Lucky....

don't feel bad, takaaa. -hugggs-
everybody does that. well, most people.
with this one guy i used to like, i used to go completely red and couldn't even talk, let alone stutter.
what i do all the time is say really stupid things or make really laaame jokes.
well, i always make lame jokes, but somehow, around guys i like, they get lamer.
like most people said, a lot of guys think it's really cute, so, basically, it might even be to your advantage! : D

Sweetheaaarrrt, cute is better than hot! gonk Here, want proof? I asked my AIM friend. He's a straight guy.
Valerie: Sen, you're a boy. Valerie: Which is better: when a girl is cute, or when a girl is hot? Sen: it's a tie. XD Sen: or do i HAVE to pick one? Valerie: So then a girl who is cute shouldn't worry about being hot instead, right? Sen: nah Sen: i mean Sen: being hot Sen: people are thinking Sen: "aw man, bang bang bang" Sen: cute it's like Sen: "yea that girl looks nice. I'd hit" Sen: like ,i think the cute girl might get a little more respect. XD
See? Cute wins. XP
Kayla's one of the mean girls, right? Trust me, you don't want an enemies leftovers. (Unless it's to get revenge on said enemy. But I'm supposed to be setting a good example for you, so yeah.)
And sweetheart, just try not to concentrate too much on being cool. One thing that might help is pretending that you'll never have to see those people again. It's easier to be yourself if you think you won't need to deal with the same people again, you know?
