I am proud to say that I have been called back for the first time in my life. Today I tried out for Beauty And the Beast and was called back for the part of Madam de la Grand Bouche. I'm very excited but nervious. I really don't know the character at all ( I know the movie version but is that anything like the musical version?) or the added music. Could anyone help me understand this character a little more and maybe help me calm my nerves for call backs? sweatdrop

She's exactly how she is in the movie. ^^ She's very, uh, grand in all the gestures that she does. She looooves opera and to sing. And she's also very sore over the fact she's blown up and she can't fit into any of her old dresses. She really wants to be human again.

Yeah...but even though she's slightly self-absorbed, she isn't judgemental/assuming of other people at all. Hence the "He's not such a bad fellow if you get to know him" quote about the Beast. In short she's good natured despite being grand. 3nodding

I don't know much to tell you about the character (haven't seen Beauty and the Beast in a long time so I have no idea who you're talking about). D: But break a leg with the callback!

Congrats on getting D'Arque! Personally, I like his character better than Madame Bouche's.

thecoonbandido Thank you guys very much for helping me understand Madame Bouche. Unfortunately I did not land the part of Madame Bouche but D?Arque. I suppost I make a better guy than a girl razz D'Arque?! Ooh, I think that'll be more fun to play. *creepy voice* I've come to collect your father. twisted
