for a long time now i have been wanting to make a special dinner and night for David. i was thinking that if my brother leaves the house to go to his dads farm this weekend that i could do it this weekend. BUT only if Ryan leaves friday night. if not then our plan is to go to Davids house, which means that the next chance of me getting the house to ourselves would be..until we get our own place. gonk

so! if Ryan does leave, any ideas? for a dinner i was thinking something with pasta as the main course. David loves pasta.

I always love making my own sauce for pasta dinners. You get to add exactly what you want to it and make it as spicy as you like. Freshly grated parmesan cheese is a great touch too.

One idea for an appetizer is pesto bread.
You get a bread like a baguette, the cut it into about 1 1/2-2 inch rounds. You bake the rounds in the oven for 5-10 minutes by themselves at about 350'. Then, you take them out and add some pesto sauce to the tops of them. Put them into the oven again for 10 minutes. Take them out, put on a bit of grated parmesan if you like, then enjoy.

Kevin and I have this game called 101 night of grrreat sex. XP if you want a really special night, that game might be a good idea. I would tell you more about it now, but dinner is almost done P=

EDIT: Okay. About the game. We found it at Hastings, I don’t really know exactly what stores would carry it, but it basically goes like this:

Your playing a board game the options on the board are:
60 sec. message (ease, message your partner), tease (tie up or blindfold then tease your partner), treats (eat or drink some of your favorite treats!), secret note (write a note to your partner and put it in the 'Pandora’s box'), hide it (find an object to put in Pandora’s box), and Trivia (ask your prater a trivia question from the books)
As you get trivia questions right you get sealed cards.
The first person to get 5 questions right is the winner, and the winner gets to pick two cards from all the cards won.

these cards will tell you what 'secret seductions' you get to do. there are clues on the outside of the cards to help you choose.

Its a fun game for a weekend alone kind of thing were you really don’t know what to do. because it will end up telling you! =P depending on what kind of person you are it might vary a bit. me and Kevin are ridicules, so we end up laughing and having a good time. (well until we get to the sexin parts =P)

well..I am getting ready for saturday. i'm still not sure what im going to make. but i went shopping for things today. i bought T lite candles..could only get 50 for $2 something! i dont need 50! gonk oh well.. and i bought some cadle holders. i wanted the red ones, but they were $2 each..im a teen. dont have that much money. so i bought the clear ones and when i got home got some tissue paper and watered down glue. they look nice. plus i used some of my paint to put hearts and other stuff on them.

Im getting nervous..what if i can't get the food or what if my brother doesn't go out of state like he says he will? gonk And i still have to clean up. ahh how am i going to get the romantic feel when David will be at my house the whole time im trying to get ready? any ideas? should i make him stay in a room and tell him he can't come out? have him take a shower? wait..showers are too short..... domokun

*spazing out* though i can't wait, because what if it all turns out great? or..maybe he could even help me with the food..? yes no? sweatdrop

I wouldn't worry about the preparation.. Have him help you out. Like setting the candles out or helping you cook dinner. Ah better yet. Start cooking dinner. boil the water start sauteing whatever and tell him you have something special planned and he should go take a shower to relax. then when he comes out you can have him put the candles wherever and have him help with the last bit of dinner.
For the dinner menu if he likes pasta you could try an alfredo sauce. I make one by using a pint of heavy cream heated on med high and then i melt half a stick of butter into that and when the butter is melted i lower the heat and add in a cup each of shredded romano cheese, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. You can also add sauted onions, mushrooms, and spinache once the cheese finishes melting into the sauce.... Now i want some..

I think of the veggies you listed the broccoli is the best with alfredo... but broccoli is my favorite veggie.

ok! anyone want to hear how that night went????

well. my brother never left for Wisconsin.. and David came over to my house around 9:30pm on friday. but i wasn't home yet. i didnt get home until about 10-10:30pm..! scream my dad is supposed to bring me home at 9pm. plus! my dad had picked me up early. stressed i was so worried that David would have had to stand out in the cold the whole time i was gone (-15 wind chill, very cold) because i thought that Ryan would have left for WI by then. (i never told my dad that David was coming over because..well..yea..he thinks im still 10..) so! i ran in the house when i got home to find David sitting on the couch! phew! i told him what i had planned because i thought it was all ruined.

But! my sister was going out and wouldnt be home saturday night and she said i could use her apartment for the special dinner and the uh..*cough* other stuff..that we wouldnt be able to do with my brother home. blaugh anywho! we took a shower and i cooked dinner with Davids help. we had a little bit to drink... ninja ... we ate some cake i had won in a cake walk from friday night from my little sisters school carnaval. it was tuxedo truffle mouse cake. very good. plus! we had been to my work to buy a few more things to use, like nice plates and cups, and a co-worker said he would take my sunday shift for me. 4laugh

It was a great night. very romantic and fun, though my sisters' DVD player didnt want to play any movies. scream

thank you everyone for help in planning this night. rofl
