Jin had spent the next few weeks pondering and observing. He witnessed the aggressive relationship between Sierra and Sabira develop horribly. Sierra was so kind and gentle, willing to try and look past Sabira's hard exterior to find friendship and Sabira was entirely unwilling. Sabira always agreed to Jin's suggestions, but once she was finished, she found no reason to stay.

With a light sigh, Jin knew that he could not allow the trio to continue to live on this way. They were fighting for positive time with one another and nothing seemed to be resolved. Jin's great idea of group hunting was always hunting in alternating pairs, which proved even more difficult while distracted by a million other thoughts.

Like Jin, Sabira has also been thinking, though her thoughts were much more drastic. Sabira had been promised a kingdom and the right as the Queen. While she knew it was selfish to simply force Jin to keep his word, she was also wondering when she would begin to feel even slightly regal.

With Sierra in their company constantly she no longer had Jin's single attention. While she never made it clear how much it meant to her, she could not help but feel as though she made the biggest mistake by agreeing to Jin's plan in the first place. As the days passed on, her love seemed to die further.

Jin, unknowing to how Sabira was feeling could only worry about the death of his clan. At Mondo Peponi, he had hoped servals could achieve the same happiness as lions. They could work as a group and claim territories as their own. Over time they could create their own traditions and beliefs.

With a shake from his head, Jin cast away those thoughts. Peering out from his den, the male realised that it was becoming late. His den seemed to be the only place in which he could peacefully gather his thoughts. Both females no longer entered for fear of the other choosing to visit as well.

That night was intended to be his night with Sierra and yet he could not bring himself to leave.

Like Jin, Sabira watched the night sky from the opening of her small den. She had one farther up on a hill so she could overlook both the den's of Jin and Sierra. While she was deep in thought, she had not seen either of them leave. To her surprise, the sky was growing darker and yet Jin had not travelled to meet up with Sierra. If he did not hurry, their time would be cut short by the sun rising in the distance.

With a sigh, Sabira wondered why she even cared how much time the two spent with one another. In the back of her mind she felt as though she should be relieved at the chance that Jin forgot about his second mate.

Jin found that in addition to not being able to make his way towards Sierra's den, he was also debating visiting Sabira. To keep from starting arguments, the three had created a strict schedule in which Jin would evenly distribute his time with both of the females. This allowed each of them to confide in him their personal concerns, as well as sleep with company. If Jin broke this now, he would find a very upset Sierra in the morning.

And fully aware of this, the male still crept towards the opening of his den and looked up to where Sabira rest. If he did not visit anyone, he would still find a saddened Sierra, but she would be able to forgive him if he explained that he simply had too much on his mind. Remaining where he was, Jin continued to contemplate on their clan.

Had he really created what he desired, or was he caught up in some false dream?

While Jin glanced out the den opening, Sabira quickly returned to her own den. She felt her heart beating within her chest, confused and curious about why Jin was still in his own cave. While she tried to explain away the situation, she hoped deep within her mind that somehow he might have changed his mind about their arrangement. She was, afterall, the first mate and queen of the clan.

When she became brave enough to return towards the moonlit opening she was surprised to see that Jin was still there, as though waiting for her return. Pale blue eyes blinked slowly as she watched the male and from her throat emitted a low, comfortable purring. Since she had met Jin she felt as though there was so much she could not express towards him, but during that night it seemed as though she could think of nothing more than telling him just what she felt towards him.

All of Jin's questions suddenly vanished when the pale white serval returned to her den opening. She sat, watching him and their eyes seemed to be locked in a deep, meaningful stare. While Jin was passionate, emotional and very determined with his ideas, Sabira could convey so much with her simple gestures and now, simply with the way she watched him.

Jin took a deep breath and a few steps forward to test her response. If she did not leave right away than he would know that he was welcomed. He had never been so slow to act during his entire life. In fact, when the two first met, Jin offered her a position of queen even before his dreams had begun to be made into a reality.

Like Jin had hoped for, Sabira remained where she was. In fact, the female stepped further out from her shelter, as though she wished to meet him along the way. Her heart continued to race in anticipation for what Jin had to say. She did not know his thoughts, but had hopes that things could change and they could develop their relationship much differently than they had begun. She would be willing to open up if he could take her as his own and his only one.

Continueing to watch the male, Sabira found his name escape her mouth quietly, "Jin..?"

Sabira had more than announced that she would welcome Jin with open paws. Stepping forth from his den, he began to approach her and then quickened his pace so that he could accompany her for the night. Once he reached her, he smiled and offered a warm nuzzle. The night was cold, but by her side it did not seem to matter to either of them.

Pulling back for a moment, Jin looked over Sabira. She was everything he could even imagine in the beauty of a female serval. He had never truly believed that he would find himself a mate, let alone two. He had become selfish in his desires and hopes and did not have the moment to stop and think of just how his mates were truly feeling in the situation. He understood now that he could not continue this.

Taking in a breath, the male finally spoke, "Sabira, I can give up my dreams if you will forgive me.."

To hold back her emotions now would be to begin their relationship poorly was all that Sabira could think when small tears began to slide down the corners of her eyes. She kept her typical grace and charm when she leaned up to meet Jin's face with an eager, happy nuzzle. She had only dreamed of this response from her mate and now that she heard it, nothing else in the world seemed to matter.

Once she broke away from the nuzzle, she looked around them and then became aware of the rest of the situation. Had Jin seriously given up everything for her? His clan? His second mate? She understood the friendship between them. How could Sierra agree? Instantly Sabira's happiness turned to fear. "B-but?" She began.

Jin silenced Sabira with a quick response. He knew what she was going to ask and had already thought deeply on the matter. "I will approach Sierra in the morning and announce to her the new plan. We will leave Mondo Peponi in her hands and she can choose to continue my dreams, or move off on her own..." Jin's voice seemed to trail off and his eyes roamed his land. It was a beautiful place and he would miss it greatly. What he had learned, however, was that any place could share this beauty in the company of Sabira. She seemed to breath life into their land.

Returning his gaze to the pale female, he smiled and concluded, "We can travel anywhere. If we meet other servals, we can tell them of our land. They can visit if they'd like.. It is a safe haven."

Once Jin finished, he began towards Sabira's den, eager to break the routine and remind Sabira that had made a new, better promise.

Sabira was silent after Jin had finished speaking. There was nothing more that she could say, but simply what she could do for him. She knew that she had been cold in the past, but that she would continue to show him how much she cared.

Once he approached her den, she felt a blush rise to her cheeks and soon after she followed.
