The winter was only getting worse. The cold air had an unforgiving bite to it. Even to a soquili that enjoyed the cold weather, this would be considered cold.
That meant that Chidi, was miserable.
Standing on the edge of the empty forest, void of almost all leaves, the black stallion stood on a flat rock. He had climbed up on top of it earlier, to try and escape the harsh chill of the snow around him. Only to find that the wind was a bit colder from up on top of his perch.
He was a gentle nature, otherwise he would of cursed the season. Actually, if another soquili told him to curse the season, he would of done so with much enjoyment. Alone, he didn't have it in him.
With a peer around the land, he looked for another alternative to the cold. It seemed hopeless, and not much that he could see, offered any better brace against the snow or wind.

"You look upset," Fortune said as she sauntered up behind the stallion, mint green eyes smiling as much as her mouth was, "You actually look like you could kill the snow if it so much as touched you anymore. Don't worry, the snow two-leggers can't get to you. They're by the village. At least, I haven't seen any tribes or invasions over here, yet. So you're safe from their pointy appendages, I'd say!"
Cheerful voice, it was, too! It seemed as though the mare had a few marbles loose, talking about two leggers made of snow and various other things. But she seemed to be observant, at least.

Chidi's hoof almost slipped out from underneath him as he was startled by a voice behind him. He spun around, pulling the loose hoof back underneath him.
His eyes went wide as he listened to her speak so cheerfully about snow two-leggers. He almost frowned at the thought of any living creature being made out of the snow he despised so much. He shook off the idea, thinking they couldn't be much of a treat if the snow crumbled underneath his walk so easily. It did envelope him at times though...
Looking down from off of his rock, he raised an eyebrow at her. "Well, I am at least glad to know of such creatures. Wouldn't want to accidentally step on one." he mused.
"As for the snow killing me...I feel it already has." he said with a short pout in his lips.
