Sorry for the abandonment. I am about to finish my divorce. I kind of just disappeared for awhile. I have missed all of you and special thanks to Doressa... she kept checking on me. I did not go do anything stupid, I threw myself into work and was just never home except to sleep. I had to take time to think. I promise I will start coming around more. Syd

i'm sorry to hear about that, but if it's for the best, you gotta do, what you gotta do. hope it hasn't been too stressful! sounds like you at least had work to help keep yourself productive.
take it easy and don't worry about us. seems like the guild will always be here when you need.

Sydney!!
heart
I feel as jubilant as a little kid on a day when their mom bakes cupcakes. It's nice to see you again.
I'm sorry to hear about the divorce, those are extremely messy. I hope custody issues are going alright (I forget, did you two have any children under /over 18?); how is your son doing? Remember that we're here if you need to vent, you can pm me privately if you like.
And if your ex treats you badly-- there are people in this guild that can make you a voodoo doll. Ok, so it may not be genuine, but it makes for the snazziest pin cushion.

Hello, I'm new, so we haven't met, but I had to write and say that I hope you are alright. A close friend of mine recently went through a divorce, so I have seen how difficult it can be. Anyway, make sure you make time to look after yourself. smile

Ok... it was tough at first because we are still friends, weird I know. Our love changed and we realized we were just friends. It was hard because I did not want to let go of the marriage, but I chose to keep my friend. So it all worked out. My son just turned 18, not from this marriage. He will graduate in May.
But I did meet this guy that I thought was interesting and in one swift move he lied to me not once but 3 times. So my first time out of the gate I found a loser. Better luck next time I say.
Thanks everyone.. no bats needed.

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight... Well good to meet you, and welcome back. Anything you need, just ask, yes? ...and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

Congratulations on your son's graduation! You must be beaming with pride. Has he figured out his post grad plans yet? I knew your son was older but I couldn't recall his age.
It's hard letting go, but I'm glad you two are still friends. Amicable divorce may seem impossible, but its definitely healthier for you.
As for the 'lying loser-- stare I have a personal vendetta against guys who lie through their teeth. Just remember, you have a guild full of thugs who love you. I still have my short swords.
