i meen, i play Bass to, but i don't like it as much as the cymbals.

Crash cymbals release a lot of pent up energy. I love it. lol

ooo i've played the cymbals once...i dont think it was the crash cymbals but yea...it was fun...my first and onli chance of playing percussion ^.^ the hardest thing i did with they cymbal was a roll...that was fun biggrin

the-forgetful-ninja cymbals are great! has any ony ever cracked them? omg, we went to a "band day" at one of the nearby collages and one of the collage guys cymbal was cracked almost all the way around the thing! it sounded awful! then there was one girl who threw her cymbals down and jumped on them! me and the other guy from my school had just gotten brand new cymbals, so we kinda kept them away from her.

haha thats funny! well at the end of marching season i made a small crack in my cymbals...i was so supried! i mean i'm 14 and ppl call me and stick! i have no musles and weigh 111 pound! how i cracked them, im do know...but my partener is a different stoy....i'll tell you guys later xp

For pep band I'm the cymbal whore [cymbal patsy...XD] and I'm playing marching cymbals for our Vegas show next year...

I play cymbals for pepband but other than that I do a bit in concert band.
Other than that im just a all around percussionist.
Thought I did play timpani for our show.

Kokihi heh, the other cymbal player in my band constantly pops the cymbals. i'm surprised he hasn't cracked one yet. yes well you see im a weakling.so i dont pop/crack cymbals often...but my partner...Zach...is a cymbal monster! he pops cymbals [any size] almost everyday! we have 8 pairs of cymbals...only 3 of them dont have a crack....one time he cracked a pair THEN he accualy pulled them so hard that they ripped almost all the way down to the bell!!!..i yelled at him b/c they were my concert cymbals....he just laugthed and told me to use my marching cymbals...*sigh* that Zach........i love my big brother,Zach.. wink
