change it in what way? just change your clothes and such or change your whole avi all together? you can delete them but ive never done it so i wouldnt know what you do neutral

If you meant how to dress your avi, I think you should go for the white one in your journal =)
If you meant to delete the basic avi, that is the skin, hair and eyes, you go to the dress up-page, click "Delete my avatar" below the save and cancel buttons, and then recreate your avatar. This will lose you your hair style, if you bought one in the salon, but nothing else.
