So, Aine is not a makeup person. Sure, she may put on some lipgloss from time to time, but that's it.
I got a bunch of it for Christmas; eyeshadow, mascara, and various other things. I decided to play with it a bit, for no reason, (nothing's coming up) and..
I think it looks hideous on me. The reason why is that I think I used too much of the eyeshadow powder on my brush, and, well, I'm kind of a beginner. Also, I noticed that I used more on the bottom, than the top. As a result, it looks like... well, like I got punched in both my eyes. Now that I think of it, it could be because of the tone.
No, I'm not giving you pictures of how horrible it is. You'd scream and cry. I'm probably going to take it off in a few minutes. I guess I need to practice a bit more with it, and not go outside with it until I get it right.
Anyways, I just felt like telling you about my makeup failure, for some reason. XD

I think makeup's useless. I don't see it making anyone prettier. o3o; I like people the way they are. Maybe if they need to cover up like a zit or something, go for it, but meh.

K I N G S H O Y XD I think makeup's useless. I don't see it making anyone prettier. o3o; I like people the way they are. Maybe if they need to cover up like a zit or something, go for it, but meh. *roams off* I kind of see where you're getting at. I myself find the concept of makeup a little odd, but I don't exactly dislike it. Only when it looks really bad (such as, wearing a poorly-choiced tone, such as jet-black eyeliner, when it would look really bad, or if there's too much) do I dislike how it looks. However, as I said, I've never been a makeup person, because, well, I'm just not into that thing much? But, it may be that I need to know this type of thing, just in case there's some sort of scenario where I have to wear some. XD I personally prefer natural shades, such as makeup that looks like natural skin tones, if others were to use it, though (I was sort of using natural tones, by the way, but it was too dark, in case anyone was wondering). xd Buzz- It's not my fault that I usually don't wear makeup, and just was playing around with it, for giggles! D:

I never use eyeshadow, it just looks weird on me. D: What color was the eyeshadow? And I never put eyeshadow underneath my eyes, if I use it I put it on top.
I tend to use mascara and eyeliner, that's it.
But if you do use it again, you will get used to it. It takes 2 minutes for me to put makeup on now instead of 30 minutes when I started using it.

I tend to use mascara and eyeliner, that's it. But if you do use it again, you will get used to it. It takes 2 minutes for me to put makeup on now instead of 30 minutes when I started using it. It was a shade of brown. I don't know the exact brand, as it came in a package, with an eyebrow trimmer. And I put some on top; I just put some on the bottom as well, a bit too much. XD And, I kind of figured that I could get used to it. I don't think I'm too much of a person who'd look good in eyeshadow, now that I think of it. xd

And, I have used both, I think black sometime earlier, and the clear just a few minutes ago, just to check. It looks fairly good, at least better than the eyeshadow did. XD

During school I normaly have to where coverup under my eyes cuz ya...otherwize i look like the walking dead xD;
Or L with boobs xD;
I always where jetblack eyeliner, well, during school, and maskera ^-^
Ohh victoria's secret has an adorable back eye liner with sparkles in it and i nead it but its 10 bucks >.> Also love there maskara cuz its the onley thing that doesent make my eyelashes clump...but thats expencive too..So i where there sparkley eyeshadow in random shades that match what im whering as well as some other eyeshadow that I have lying around the house :3.
I love sparkles over my eyes ^-^ They just make me happy ^-^
BUT for a biginer i recomend brown shadeds till you master moderation ^-^
and just play ^-^ Playing is fuun When all the world turns away to leave you lonely

Victoria's Secret is having an AWESOME sale. I dont know when it ends though, but it was going on yesterday. They had a bunch of body stuff for 75% off biggrin I got lotion and body wash and spray for all kinds of cheap XD But yeah you should go. The mascara is probably on sale too.
I LOVE eye liner biggrin Eye liner is hott. Even on boys whee I love lip gloss too. My favorite is this hard candy kind from sephora. Sephora is hott. And for eye shadow I only use brown, pink, and sometimes purple. I wont wear blue because in the It Girl and Gossip Girl books they make blue eye shadow sound all hideous and stuff and so I cant wear it anymore. I only wear eye shadow on the top, and eye liner on the bottom. I dont use any foundations. And mascara usually makes my eyelashes all clumpy and annoying >.< But I use it anyways and then end up wiping it all off when im trying to fix it XD

I, for one, have only worn makeup twice; once for a musical I was in in 5th grade, and the other time was just a little eyeshadow that I tried out of boredom that I gave up on because I couldn't get any color to actually show up >.<;;

 Ok, rant time. I'm extremely old fashioned in some respects, and I'll admit that. I am not going to treat anyone wearing make-up any differently than a normal person (unless they're wearing too much - then I just assume they're fake, two-faced people), but this is my true view of make-up. It's paint, and I hate it. I don't understand why anyone would want to wear it. Plays and anythign in front of a camera(wher eyou're pretending something you're not) is an exception. But that's exactly what make-up is: You're pretending you're something you're not. Even when you get down to the primitive things about make-up. Like why people wear red lipstick. Subconciously, red lips (and cheeks: blush) is a sign of arousal. Make-up is just a tool to get people to sex you up. That's what it was made for. That's what it's being used for. And any girl who wears make-up but doesn't want to be sexxed up, or complains of being hit on too often, really needs to have their headsmacked. Despite how wrong it is, people judge eachother on looks. That's just the way it is. Don't like how people are treating you, change your look. /rant

Makeup makes people feel prettier. And that boosts self confidence. And thats why makeup is good whee I mean granted you should feel good about yourself without makeup, but makeup can make you feel even prettier. Its like dressing up. Pretty clothes make people feel prettier. New hair styles make people feel better about themselves. Makeup is the same way.
If you look better you feel better. Ugly people arent usually happy sad They are sad because they are ugly and even if they have friends and loved ones they still probably feel bad about themselves because appearances matter and they know it. Makeup can make ugly people feel happier and how is that wrong?
Makeup also makes pretty people prettier biggrin Im totally pretty with or without makeup, but makeup makes me feel even prettier then without it. Or more like hotter then prettier because im always pretty, but makeup is more seductive. Like you should see what I do with my lipgloss when I see a cute guy coming to my store. Its so whorish but it makes me happy ;D
I dont even know what I'm rambling about XD And I could be totally wrong about makeup making ugly people feel better. I have never once in my life had an ounce of low self esteem. I've been full of myself since before birth whee So I have no clue how low self esteem people feel. Maybe it is lame for them to use makeup so that they dont feel ugly, because they should be fine with themselves as they are and not think they need to be bettered. But ANYWAYS I think makeup is good because it makes me feel like I can get sexed up easier biggrin Which is what you said. So you're right, makeup = a tool to get laid.

I've only ever really used makeup twice (my mother has forced lip gloss on me at other occasions, and I promptly take it off the instant I leave her sight.).
Once was when it was picture day and I had a big bruise on my face. The other was when I had an outbreak of zits the day I dressed up in my fancy dress and went to Tolo. Both times it was only that cover-up stuff.
I actually get somewhat pissed every time my mother comes at me with a tube of lipstick. It's like... "Mo-oo-om, I'm pretty enough without makeup! Why must you insult me by trying to improve me?"
