It definetly had its comedic moments. I just think classifying it as a comedy is kinda stretching things xd

I'd agree calling it a comedy en generale is a bit of a stretch. But some lines, and the songs "A Little Priest" and "By the Sea", are definitely funny. I've got one of my favorite laugh-inducing lines on my signature right now.
At any rate, it totally deserves Best Picture as a musical! And Johnny Depp is definitely worthy of Best Actor.

It didn't win an award for comedy; it won for musical. The morons put comedy and musical in the same category.
