January 14th, 2008Nathan From his start in GWWF, Nathan has always made a promise to his fans that someday he would carry a GWWF Championship around his waist. He came through with his promise after six months of coming so close yet walking away with nothing. At GWWF's final Pay-Per-View of the year, WrestleFest, Nathan had one last chance to defeat the GWWF Global Champion and he did so with honor. As per stipulation, Nathan was unable to get disqualified but Cartwright was still forced to follow the usual rules. Nathan put this aside and was able to pin Cartwright after a Destruction bomb. He's not only your new GWWF Global Champion, Nathan is Destruction's Superstar of the week!

January 21st, 2008Euro-volution Having just formed at WrestleFest, this stable is already making history in a big way. Riese and Toxic with help from Colin defeated Team WTF for the GWWF Tag Team Championships in their first match as an official stable. In the same night, Colin took out Team WTF leader Mad Dog. He is currently out indefinetly with an injury. This past Wednesday Night Destruction, Euro-volution also took out the number one contender for the GWWF Championship, Samoa Dan. With Cartwright acting as their manager, this all European team seems to be dominating the GWWF locker room.

February 16th, 2008Freddie He's held Tag Team titles before with the aid of former GWWF Champion, Mad Dog, but now Freddie is looking to win the championship himself. A prize he's never even had an opportunity to win before. As we prepare for the first pay-per-view of 2008, Freddie is getting ready for a match that could prove himself worthy enough to hold the GWWF Championship. Last week on Wednesday Night Destruction he defeaeted Joker and made a huge impact on Shadow's thank-you speach. Does Freddie have it in him to win the title?

March 31st, 2008Shadow The GWWF Champion continues his reign after a long awaited match at Bloodymoon. In what many thought was going to be Shadow's last walk to the ring carrying the championship belt, Shadow proved them all wrong by pinning Freddie in a No Disqualifications match up. It was one of the higher rated matches of the night and will surely be searched on a free video access website for years to come. Look out for more must see matches from the GWWF Champion in the upcoming weeks.

May 26th, 2008Jed GWWF has a new Hardcore Champion, for now. As he made his return to Wednesday Destruction, Jed "The High Flyer" was placed in a title match against Saint Joey for the Hardcore Championship. Joey's been carrying the title for awhile now but his long title has come to end. It only took broken glass, a sledgehammer, and a broken announcers table for the new Champion to be crowned. Hopefully this will spark a bit more action in the Hardcore division.

June 16th, 2008Jed GWWF has a new Hardcore Champion, again. Jed walked into GWWF's most recent pay-per-view as the Hardcore Champion and several title changes later he walk--rather drove out of the pay-per-view as a mutliple time GWWF Hardcore Champion. Not only that but Jed is the first in GWWF history to be Destruction's Superstar of the Week two weeks running. Good for you Jed!

April 30th, 2009Randy Rhoads NEW CHAMPION On the April 30th "come-back" edition of Wednesday Night Destruction Randy Rhoads pinned Rider Rundell in a cage match to win the GWWF Caged Championship. This title is the first of Rhoads' title in GWWF and seeing as he is a promising young superstar in GWWF it surely won't be his last.

January 20, 2010AngelLarge and in Charge Angel proved that he will not take no for an answer. As always, actions speak louder than words, and Angel spoke real loud when he dismantled fellow superstar Andrew Matthews, effectively crippling the wrestler. Angel seems to have his sights set on taking out every superstar in his way, how long will this go on before this superstar is finally satisfied?
