I just watched Castle in the Sky, dubbed version for my family's benefit... I was watching the Japanese-with-subs version last night, and by simple comparison, THE ENGLISH LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIES! Grr. They had NO standards back then. Flaps are one thing, but if you can't see the person's mouth moving, don't add dialogue where no dialogue should be! Rawr! Good night, anyway.
