Habitat: MountainClan's territory contains tall hills similar to that of WindClan's. The camp is snug between two hills and is surrounded in thick heather. The dens are made under an overhang and are reinforced with brambles. The nursery has the thickest brambles and the most overhang so virtually no rain gets in. The elders' den is in an old fox-den and leader's den is a small cave in the opposite hill with overhang hiding the entrance tunnel. You get in by going through a small tunnel in the massive wall of heather that covers the entrance.
Prey: Mostly birds and rabbits.
Clan Skills: MountainClan have thick coats and large bodies to endure the weather during leaf-bare, since it can get very cold at the high altitudes.

Altostar stretched once she was out in the camp. Whilst it was sunny, most cats would have thought that it was freezing cold up in the mountains where they lived, but she did not notice it as her fur kept her very warm. She looked at the fresh-kill pile and saw that it was reasonably well stocked up. She picked up a bird and lay down in a patch of grass. It was still very early, so not many cats were out. She ate slowly, savoring every last bite. As she ate, she thought. I've been leader for three moons now...but I still can't forget my last leader. At least everything is getting easier...

Altostar nodded towards Sunpelt. "Good morning!" She mewed, snapping out of her thoughts. "How are you?"

Altostar dipped her head thankfully. She stretched and yawned widely before padding into her den. She looked around. The bedding needed changing. She grinned to herself-A leader doing the task of an apprentice. This should be fun she thought to herself. She grabbed the old moss and began to pull it out of the den.

Altostar dragged the bedding out of camp, dropping it over a small cliff as they lived in the mountains. She looked around for more and found some quickly. She shook it out to dry it and began to carry it back to the camp.

Moonblossom crouched down low and walked slowly forward, then in seaconds she pounced forward killing the rabbit.

"Arint you sapose to be collecting herbs?" Haildrop mewed comeing uo to Moonblossom.

"That can wait!" She replide

"Come on Moonblossom, your a medicine-cat, you should be doing your dutie." He mewed

"Fine." Moonblossom gave in.

"I'll help" Haildrop offered.

Moonblossom walked into Altostar's den "Altostar, are you doing apprentice duties again. You should be arangeing patrols" Moonblossom damanded pushing Altostar outside.

TigerFrost padded in and Lightly Nudged passed the two Cats Standing beside eachother. Tigerfrost Bowed her head to AltoStar" Would you like to go Hunting?" Asked Tigerfrost.

Altostar looked over at Moonblossom. "I had the impression that I was leader around here." She mewed kindly. "But you are right. Sorry, Tigerfrost, maybe when we have more warriors in the camp."
