I think it did and everybody in my guild agrees. The fact you can get a full PVP set in 1 week as compare to months of Arenas for your gear made Arenas crap and you didnt have to work hard for gear.

In a way, I agree, but at the same time, s3 gear is much better than s1.
I mean, the difference in stats is comparable to the difference between t4 and t6 gear (but obv in PvP terms not PvE terms).
Tbh I would've settled for a level 70 version of the 60 pvP gear. That would've been a happy medium before we get gladiator gear.
Oh, and for your average player, it's closer to a month for full s1.
I max around 8k honor a day now if I moderate my playing. If I spend all day playing, more, but most people don't spend 24/7 in a bg. It can get boring.

No. You can't actually get it in a week unless you have absolutely no life, and even then, it's a stretch. If you had honor/marks pre-farmed, yeah, you probably could get it easily, but my about-to-be-70 warlock isn't going to be able to.
It takes about 2-3 weeks of arenas to get a piece of gear or two, and that's playing the minimum 10 games a week.

Casual gaming on my battlegroup on alliance side, it takes about 2 months to get all the marks (losing a lot takes more time) The honor is not great either since the changes on 2.3 for AV (best honor grind IMO)

Season one gear is terrible, lose 10 games a week and spend your honor on offset pieces.

Kimberly Ferris Season one gear is terrible, lose 10 games a week and spend your honor on offset pieces. Did they nerf the amount of points you get for losing?

Resi was the best thing ever to happen to PVP. And it takes so little to make a HUGE diffrence. Plus its not bad in PvE and raiding for some classes.
