Throughout the time that I've been a member of this guild (since it first started, I lurk), I've noticed that some, if not a majority of you, wish for new members.
The best thing I can say is to advertise banners in signatures.
But really the main reason I made this topic is the main forum. I think it's really unattractive to come in, and see the main forum just clogged with announcements. I don't mean to bash or anything, but it might be a decent idea if you clean those out, perhaps by making a sub-forum for old announcements?
Another thing I can suggest is the stickying of topics. I think its a good option for a topic you want to stay on top, but not permanently. I use stickies for my own guild, and make the topics normal when the topic is done/served it's purpose.

Also, be careful what you allow to be posted/made into topics in your guild drift. I noticed that you made a topic about another guild an announcement. Alot of guilds that I know don't allow the posting/advertisement of other guilds in them (unless by signature of course), because it defeats the purpose of the main guild. If people were coming to the drifter guild, then saw the naruto guild, they would go to the naruto guild.
See, its like losing members.
The other part about what should be made into topics, I really don't understand why geomancer777- made his experience in losing baby teeth an announcement. I'm sure its an important experience, however, it really is more suited for a regular topic. If it's always been as dead as it has when I visit every now and then, then the topic would stay on top for a long while.

Last but not least, speaking from my own experience, it's a good idea to make sure that topics get moved to their proper subforum.
In the main forum there are at least two topics that could be moved to the RP subforum
If you need any help with the guild, I'd be glad to oblige.
Remember that none of this was bashing, flaming, or being mean, even if it came off that way. I'm just trying to help

I don't think so.
He only made a mistake, that's not a reason to demote him.
Plus, I'm assuming gale allowed the topic since it's still there.
I was just trying to help get this place cleaned up a little

Very good points are made here. I think the guild would become more appealing if we had a "spring cleaning," (even if it is the middle of frikkin'-freezin'-January.)

And whether or not it's cold depends on where you live.
