Yeah so my application was rejected, but i'm a tenacious little jerk so i'm going to post anyway. The last one sucks, actually they all do, but please try to ignore that for the most part and give me some accurate critique, if you feel like it. as long as i'm going to be bugging you, you may as well know a little about me. I am:a chick tired devoted to becoming a better artist 15 open for commissionsI am not:a member of this guild so yeah.. constructive criticism, if you please

Do you have any more of your work? I'm kind of surprised you were rejected. It could use some work. You're kind of in that phase, I think, where you're about to get really kickin' rad, but there are people in this guild who are probably less skilled than you who are here because they do high-concept sort of stuff.
What I wouldn't give to have had exposure to other artists or illustrators over the Internet at a young age. You've really got a technological advantage and you probably had one growing up, you'll probably be awesome.
You're pretty good now as it is? You aren't really selling me on the strength of the personality of these illustrations, but the skill and the eye are both there.

YEAH
You are bomb. When I was 15, I considered myself to be way ahead of the curve- I was decent. You are better. Actually, due to the fact I don't really do anything anymore, it's probably safe to say that you are better then I am now at 18.
Why am I in this guild? I should be kicked, or this chick should be inv'd...

At 15, these are killer. As long as you keep working hard, you will be amazing. The last one is a very good start to something. Just finish it!

Just finish it! Thanks, Maybe I will go back to the last one in OC and pick at it, but taking into account the fact that i'm terribly, terribly lazy, I probably won't. If I get bored though, maybe. Yeah, I get where you're coming from with the personality thing. i've been trying to integrate more stuff straight from my head into my work, and hopefully i'll have more success in the future. As for more work, this is a warm up I did about 5 minutes before getting my s**t together and typing replies to everyone: Not much real structure or purpose in that one, and the lighting is crap, but it's just a warm up so it's ok for me to suck.

You hit the right spots in lighting from what I can tell but your shading makes the skin on the faces look like clay Now if you're actually trying to do that it's pretty rad, but regardless I would be interested in seeing you try something with smoother tones and gradation

Hey, loving the work. Only nitpick - I go to an art college and right now people with that sort of style are dime a dozen. Almost every concept artist who deals in that style can't be distinguished by each other. I'm sorry to say, your work is very beautiful, but it's far too similar to everyone else's work. If you're thinking of going into art as a career, I'd suggest start experimenting, and even if the basis of your pictures are either bland or too cliched, at least the technique will carry you on.
