Jayoku had opted not to hold the youngsters hand while they walked to the park. And was constantly batting away the tentacles that wanted her attention. She was a bit worried about taking Adriel out into the park, to mix with other kids....she was paranoid quick frankly that those tentacles of his would end up getting him in trouble.
The boy was ..cleaned up and wearing normal boy clothes instead of a dress now. Though she had to cut holes for the two extra 'arms' he had in his shirt...he nevertheless .....looked more boyish than he had before. The park was pretty deserted, she was very happy about that fact.
"Okay now go play okay hun?" she said pushing the little boy away from her so he would venture a bit further from her. He tended to cling to her...and not in a good way most of the time.
Adriel looked over his shoulder in surprise as his 'mother' pushed him forward. He was to go...play? Looking around at the vacant playground he observed each toy/activity and finally settled for the swings. Tottering off in that direction his mother sat down on a bench heavily.

June quickly learned why the boy had come with a leash not long after they had gone to the corner store for snacks. He had been walking along, sipping from his drink when someone had bumped into him. Duncan gotten knocked back and dropped his drink from the impact with the stranger and it had splashed all over him and the sidewalk.
The man that bumped into him didn't even stop to see if he were alright, didn't even apologize. He'd just kept walking along the one on the other end of his cellphone seeming to be all he cared about it should have been what was going on in front of him.
"Idiot." Duncan had spat out at him, rising to his feet and had dashed off after the man that had run into all of his eyes narrowed in a dark, pulsing rage. June was lucky that he caught the boy before he could catch the man he thought to himself as he walked into the park.
Duncan had been growling and snarling as he was picked up, nails digging into arm with one hand as the other reached out and made clawing motions at the one they had been walking away from. It reminded June somewhat of a riled up cat...
It was like the boy had become something else entirely when his anger had overcome his senses.
June looked back and forth before he spotted a bench that only had one occupant before he walked over to it, plopping down, "How about you go and try to play while I take a break, eh Duncan?"
The boy looked up at him then with a grumbling sound did as he was asked. It was only after Duncan had started towards the playground equipment did June gave a groan, lifting a hand to inspect the claw marks on his shoulder. Well he supposed it could have been worse... Duncan could have bitten him or used both hands to scratch. Ah well, wasn't like they were the first scars he would have gotten in his lifetime.

Normally a polite person Jayoku only sat up in shock as she spotted the boy the man was speaking too. He...he had red skin...and horns...and if that wasn't enough metallic wings and three eyes! She couldn't help but watch the kid move onto the playground where her little Adriel was ...attempting to swing.
"Um.....thats your little boy?" Jayoku asked the man as Duncan moved off into the playground.
Adriel was having a tough time trying to swing. It...really wasn't going well. The boy was being bullied by his own appendages for when he swung they would latch onto the nearest pool and not let go.
So now Adriel was clinging to the swings chain hanging at a ninty degree angle off the ground trying not to fall off the seat.
"Wet go!" the poor boy cried, there were pebbles underneath and if he fell it would hurt!

June nodded as he rubbed at his shoulder, only a little blood so it couldn't be that bad right? He looked over at the woman sitting next to him before he gave a nod of his head, "As of today he is." He said, before wiping the red substance on his pant leg. It seemed a little strange to suddenly have a boy but... he couldn't leave the kid. After all the one that offered the kid to him had that Mad Scientist feel to him. Not a person one should leave kids around, "His name is Duncan, I'm June."
He held out his other hand out to her, the one he'd not used to check his wounds given he knew women could get all squeamish over blood.
Duncan was heading toward the ladder that would lead him up to a metal, fort like area when a voice caught his attention. He wasn't sure why but that voice sounded familiar to him. He starred at the kid that seemed to fighting with his own limbs to try to swing. He did his best not to laugh but it was a rather amusing looking sight, seeing him hanging at a strange angle his hands clinging to the swing and his tentacle limbs clinging to the swing set pole.
He tapped his wings together, making a chiming sound as he stood there, watching, "Stuck?" He asked after a moment. He was sure that the kid was from the looks of him but he figured he would ask anyway.

Jayoku didn't mind blood really, as long as it wasn't her own she was good. Shaking the man's hand she gave a smile. "Oh really? I just got my little boy a couple days ago as well.." the woman trailed off as it seemed to click. Two...very strange boys...
"Um where did you adopt your...new son?" she asked politely.
Adriel looked at the boy with wide teary eyes, nodding his head earnestly at the question. "Dey won't wet go." He whimpered still clinging onto the chains . He was too afraid to let go. The boy...also looked familiar to him, though he couldn't place why and currently his fear of falling was overwhelming his curiosity and thusly he wasn't paying much attention at all. "hwelp me pwese?" He nearly begged.

"I got him... a couple of hours ago." June said and then gave a little shrug of his shoulders, "A place that kinda looked like it used to be a church." He said, watching as his son starred at the second kid that his kid was approaching. He hoped that Duncan was going to be nice to him... The way he was standing though didn't hold any of his earlier anger.
Duncan watched him for a long moment, debating upon whether or not he should help or just leave the kid hanging. He looked as if he had gotten himself into the situation after all they were his limbs... He took a step closer, the kid was crying? He gave a little sigh before he stepped closer, reaching out to see if he could get the tentacles to let go of the pole. If they were freed then the rest of the kid could surely escape?
The little, red skinned boy pushed up on his tip toes and reached out to try to untangle the kid.

Jayoku's eyes widened at his words....what kind of experiments were they doing in that building?? "you know..I think i got my Adriel from the same place! Funny though...they look nothing alike.." Jyaoku mused watching as the red skinned one was now...helping?
Adriel looked up and watched the boy sniffling all the while. Why couldn't his limbs listen to him? it was like they were trying to scare him! THe purple tentacles trembled as he reach to touch them and then one snapped out and wrapped itself around his wrist in a very firm grasp.
"No no no! wet go wet go!" Adriel pleaded, as he felt the swing tip precariously towards Duncan.

June looked over at the woman, his eyes widening a little bit before asking, "Seriously? Was it that strange man who looked like he hadn't brushed his hair for a week that gave you the kid?" He asked, not having gotten a good vibe from the one who'd handed him Duncan's leash, "He gave me Duncan on a leash..." He trailed off as he said it, muscles twitching a bit. It made him curious what they had done to the kid to make him need a leash, what made him have such aggression....
Duncan gave a jolt when the tentacle he was trying to unravel suddenly grabbed hold of him. He poked at it before giving a low, growling sound... no... he could do this. The other kid was looking like he was going to cry, he needed help... once he saved him from the swing he would save himself from the weird, purple limbs.

Jayoku looked over watching the senario play out. Why wasn't Adriel just making his tentacles do what he wanted?? Shaking her head she returned her focus on the man beside her.
"No..I had a lady..she seemed really preoccupied and basically handed me Adriel and left.." She explained before looking at June with a raise eyebrow. "A leash? Why on earth would he need that?"
As if on cue the second tentacle released its hold on Duncan and proceeded to wrap around the same wrist. Well...at least he wasn't attached to eh swing set anymore...now he was just attached to the boy who had been trying to help him.
"I'm sworry I"m sworry!" he repeated as his limbs were trying very hard to pull Duncan towards him.

June couldn't help but laugh, "Actually I learned why he needed a leash not long ago and I'm almost tempted to put it back on him. Little guy has a bit of a temper on him, a guy knocked him over while we were walking and I thought that Duncan was going to eat him..."
Duncan looked down at his arm that was being clung to now by not one but two purple tentacles. He gave a little shake of his arm before looking over at Adriel, digging his feet into the sand in an attempt to keep from being drug along, "Release!" He demanded, he'd saved the kid from his dangerous situation and now he was trying to drag him over? Why? Was he going to eat him?
He gave a flap of his metallic wings, attempting to step back.

Jayoku looked back over, the situation ....was starting to go from funny to bad. If his tyke had a temper on him....what was happening now surely wasn't a good thing.
"Um...maybe we should intervene then?" she asked pointing to the two.
Despite him clinging he had to admit that his tentacles were a lot stronger than his little arms, and slowly but surely he was slipping from the seat. The tentacles...tightened their grip as if thinking this was a game. If they didn't listen to Adriel there was no way they were going to listen to this kid.
"Nooo!" Adriel cried as suddenly he slipped, his eyes going wide as his bottom slid out from under him and his arms were yanked from still holding onto the chain and then thud...onto the ground the arms dragging poor Duncan with them.

June gave a nod of his head, "Maybe." He murmured, having no idea if Duncan's temper would flare when with someone his own size... he hadn't thought about that. It could be a bad thing given he had rather sharp claws and the one he was playing with seemed to lack such defenses.
June rose to his feet quickly and started towards the kids when suddenly the woman's kid took a fall, dragging Duncan with him.
Duncan gave a surprised sound when he was suddenly drug down to the ground, landing hard because of the weight of the other kid falling. He'd not been ready for that and his wings weren't very useful when it came to keeping him from falling over.
He gave a low, growing sound feeling his anger rising, "Release." He said, through clentched teeth. He felt the urge to bite the tentacles that were holding him. He would bite and he would get free of them and...
"Duncan!"
June's voice caused Duncan's mind to come back to itself and he turned his head, looking over at his guardian who seemed even taller when Duncan was sitting on the ground, "Huh?"
"You playing nice?" June asked.
Duncan gave a nod of his head, "Nice." He agreed.

Jayoku hurried after June, her son had spilled to the ground and she had to see if he was okay after all. Worried that the other may attack him was more her worry at the moment.
Adriel had hit the ground hard and now was crying, greatbig tears spilled from his large brown eyes, his little hands pressed up to them as if hoping to make them stop coming out.
It was the moment he started to bawl that the tentacles released their hold on Duncan. Perhaps it was only reason why they went back to their own body. It was an odd sight, like the tentacles did in fact have a mind of their own and thusly were now stroking and petting and trying to calm the poor child down.
Jayoku knelt down and pushed the tentacles out of the way and wrapped her arms around the little boy.
"shhh now your okay, your alright." she murmured though by the way the tentacles were acting you would of thought she had just shunned them and they withdrew to the boys side acting like they were sulking.

Duncan starred at Adriel with wide eyes, watching him as he cried and was for a moment confused and then felt anger rising. Why? Why was he crying? He'd drug them both down and you didn't see him crying like that! All three of Duncan's eyes narrowed and he gave a hissing sound at Adriel, "Stop!" He spat out, taking a step forward and June reached out to catch hold of his son's arms to keep him from getting to close to the other boy, "Crybaby!"
"Duncan! You have to be nice!" June said, looking a little embarrassed over the fact that his son was picking on a kid that was already crying. He looked at the woman in an apologetic way before kneeling down next to his son, "You can't pick on people."
Duncan looked up at June then stepped closer to him, lifting clawed hands to cover his ear, "Loud." He growled, wanting for the woman to make her kid be quiet! His trying was annoying.
"That isn't the point, now apologize to him." June said, pointing at Adriel.
Duncan's eyes went wide in shock, he wanted him to say sorry! "Never!" He said, teeth barred and he looked as if he weren't going to be changing his mind anytime soon...

Jayoku petted her son's hair while trying to get him to calm down. This was the first real emotion she had received from him, she was glad he had some emotion but this was a bit much.
Adriel's crying suddenly ceased, the still sobbing boy sniffled and ran an hand under his nose to wipe the snot that was drooling out of it.
"am not.." he said in a low voice, his face still buried in his mothers chest which he found oddly comforting. She never usually got this close...mostly cause his tentacles did things to her she didn't like.
"Now Adriel didn't mean to pull you down D..Duncan." Jayoku started still petting her boys hair. "Now did you hunny?" she said addressing her son,who shook his head.
"I think they both should say sorry." She continued lifting her son and letting him stand on his two feet. His eyes were still red from crying, the streaks leaving trails down his cheeks. She turned him to face Duncan.
"No why don't you both say your sorry? And then we can start fresh."
