Namaarie meandered through the Savannah. There was no one really out in the midday sun, save a few of the small prey beasts. Whistling a little to herself, she found a nice rock to sun herself on, glad that her mostly white coat allowed her to do this.
Leaping up onto the rock, she stretched out elegantly. Getting uneasy with how quiet it was, she began to whistle again. Continuing even as a small beetle landed in front of her. Smiling, she played with the small beetle in front of her. It was a pretty red one, and it was currently traipsing around her fingers in an exploratory fashion. Namaarie watched it go, tail swishing happily.

A good morning run worked him into quite a sweat, able to grab a quick snack from a rabbit earlier and was heading back to a private little water hole to wash up before sleep. Anyone would admit sleeping in soggy, sticky, and stinky fur was not very pleasant and the least bit comfortable. His breath curled in the morning air. It wasn't as cold as it was when he left his den before running off.
Without anyone living with him, he got quite loneliness and only found solice in doing what he always did. Running. Hunting. Patroling the noble lands he was born and raised in. Then again, the only thing that could distract him where those girly whiles of those lionesses.
He took a brief step to catch his breath as he hasn't gotten any rest since his run to the border and back, plus the quick chase of the rabbit. Beads of liquid clung to his fur.
Best wash off quick before any females found him.

Well it was a good thing for him that Namaarie was slightly occupied by being enthralled with the little bug that was currently crawling up her arm. It was so awesome! She envied its bright red shell and little wings. Although, she was getting annoyed at the tickling sensation of it crawling around in her fur.
It was fairly cold that morning, but at least the rock was warmed by the sun. Lazily flicking the bug away, she rolled onto her back and stretched. Keeping on her back, she snuggled into the warm rock and stared up at the sky.

Zeki trotted quickly through the grass toward the private water hole. His growing large paws carried him a good distance with each stride. It did not take long before his crimson eyes fell upon a strangely white figure upon a dusty gray stones. Curious, yet again, gets the better of him as he moves closer to it.
He stops.
It's a female. He takes a gulp and jerks his head around, he had to find a place to hide before he is found in such a horrid condition. As masculine or whatever he looked like now; Big, strong, muscular, sweaty, he did not want to ever be seen like this by a female. It was just embarassing!

The only thing that moved on Namaarie's body was an ear. A single ear flicked to attention and swiveled towards the approaching figure. Vaguely she wondered who was out an about this time of day.
However, the rock was warm, and she was lazy. Sighing, she figured she should probably make sure it wasnt something that was going to eat her before she completely disregarded it.
Sitting up slowly, she stretched languidly and turned slowly, still yawning.

Zeki stopped in his steps as he saw her body move upon the rock. He swallowed and sighed, assuming he was caught. What a disgrace he was! He looked like a mess... hopefully, she isn't put off by it.
Carefully, he approached her.
"Hello there, Miss."

Namaarie raised an eyebrow at the younger lion boy before her. It was obvious that he had just run quite a ways; she could smell his sweat from her rock.
At least he was polite. "Why hello there." Namaarie added a coy smile to her greeting.

He chuckled and rubbed his mane, at least what he had, and looked at her with a goofy grin.
"Sorry, I wish I had the chance to clean up a little before meeting anyone like this. I must look like a mess," he called out as he sat where he was. He did not want to offend her with his odor. If only he could get away to the private water hole.
"Uh... oh! My name's Ezekiel. Zeki if you want," he greeted with a hasty bow.

Her coy smile continued, this boy seemed to be quite a mess this morning. "I do believe theres a small watering hole closeby, perhaps you should use that before meeting anyone else?"
Namaarie had of course figured out by now that the watering hole is probably where the boy was headed before she had interrupted him. Leaping down from the rock, she gave a clipped bow in return. "My name is Namaarie."

He gave another chuckle. Even she agreed he needed to wash up. "I would go there but I rather not just leave you alone especially just after meeting you. Would you like to come with me? I don't mind."
"Well then, Miss Namaarie, what do you say? Or does being near a male make you nervous?" He laughed in jest and raised to his paws ready to go.

"Nothing makes me nervous." She turned her back on him and began to walk to the watering hole, making sure to put a little extra sway in her walk. She did it almost naturally now everytime she was around a lion.
At least the boy was nice. Slightly goofy, but it came off as charming. A little young however, his mane hadn't grown in all the way. Which was a shame... cause Namaarie had a thing for manes. They were so fluffy and cute!
Oh well, no harm in some flirting.

" I would say the same if it weren't lying," he replied as he followed suit and made sure he stayed behind her. As long as she was ahead, she couldn't smell him too well. Rather not have that.
Zeki just did things naturally now. That suave smile. That handsome smirk. That mischieveous grin. Those casual struts. And one cannot forget the endless fountain of comments.
His crimson eyes watched her sway. What was she doing? Being so young, he knew of mating but due to his own morals, he wouldn't be ready to mate until he had a full mane. Feeling it growing slowly as days past. That time was coming soon.
"So when did you find this water hole?"

"Earlier this morning." It wasnt long at all before they reached the watering hole. Namaarie took a small sip before Zeki began to bath, and then went in search of a nice place to sit.
It was a low flat rock, and perfect for lounging. Deciding against sitting, she stretched out on her stomach and looked up to the sky. The clouds were out today, they floated against the sky in a cute puffy abandon.
Namaarie could tell it was going to be an interesting day.

"I've been going here a lot myself," Zeki spoke as he stood in the water, slowly bathing himself. "I always thought not many knew about it because of all the tall grass around here. I mean, I thought it was private or something..." he added, continuing long, rough licks to his fur, fluffing his fur in the water. Salty... blah. How some females found it attractive, he would not know. Sure he liked it, it let him know he was pushing himself.
The young male turned to her and smiled.
"So what is a pretty female like you doing alone? Surely you have somewhere to be, right?"

"The only reason I knew it was here is because of the path worn through the grass. Its fairly faint however, so a lot of animals wouldnt pick up on it." It was a nice little water spot, she would have to keep it in mind if she wandered back to this area some day.
"Everybody has somewhere to be, even if that somewhere is nowhere." Namaarie had wandered for most of her life, especially after her father deemed her old enough to hunt alone.
