PROLOGUE
Three thousand years ago, long before the formation of the five nations...
The six elements were in harmony with each other, guided by six sages who worked together to bring order to the universe. These sages were reputedly so powerful that they could change the orbits of stars and move mountains at will.
But for all their power they were not immortal. The sages eventually grew old, and their power weakened. In one final attempt to preserve the order they had worked so hard to create, they enacted a plan, creating from themselves six Guardian Spirits with the strength of the Elements, and sealed the remainder of their power into a Sage Stone, locking it within a powerful fortress, and for a time their plan worked.
But it was not meant to be. Over a thousand years later, the beginnings of the nations had formed, and the world was in a perpetual state of war.
A powerful sorcerer by the name of Artemis, seeking to obtain power and eternal life, sought out the stone. But the moment his impure soul came into contact with the stone, it shattered, scattering into six shards, thus creating the elements and innates.
Today, the six shards have long since been lost, though many have tried to find them, their efforts fruitless.
Only the five leaders and Damien Lenoir know the whereabouts of these six shards.
PRESENT DAY
It has been two thousand years since the Nations were created, and again war is brewing. In celebration of the time and in an attempt to once again foster peace, Vect Drazhar has set up a tournament and invited the other leaders. He hopes that by extending the hand of friendship, he can once again have peace. Contestants from all nations are coming, and it promises to be a grand event.
