Saoirse was bored. Akki, her human, lay in the shade of a massive tree, though it didn't do much good; the sharp green spikes protruding from the tree's branches hurt when Saoirse attempted to walk over to lay her head on her human's lap.
Something about the thin layer of the wet, white stuff on the ground unnerved the puppy. It made her paws uncomfortable, but not quite as uncomfortable as the spines beneath the tree. Yet, it tasted delicious. What was the deal with it...?
Saoirse spotted a glittering shadow on the snow and pounced on it without a second thought. Upon noting that there wasn't anything there, her suspicions about the snow were confirmed; it was creepy.

A woman entered the park's gate, carrying a small Akita puppy. The puppy was probably around 8 or 9 weeks old, and this was her first visit to the park. The Akita's piercing blue eyes were wide open in wonder, what was this place? The pup started squirming in her owners arms, trying to jump out.
"Hey now, if you jump, you might hurt yourself, Evita." Said her owner. "I won't be able to even lift you soon. You go have fun, I'll be over here."
Evita's owner placed her on the concrete path. Without any warning a frigid feeling erupted in her toes. "AAAHHH! My feet! What's wrong with them!?" She yelled with a high pitched voice.
The pup seemed to dance around on the cold concrete, as she was lifting her legs in intervals trying to avoid the cold feeling. Quickly she dashed off the concrete and into the...SNOW?! It was even colder than the concrete. Almost instantly she landed on the concrete again.
