Ok, so this game plays a lot like Mafia. Once all the players are registered, (hopefully 10-15) I will PM one person at random to be the werewolf. That person will PM me with the name of the person they want to kill. I will then weave a tale of grizzly demise. The students, (anyone who's not the werewolf) will then discuss and vote on who to execute. The game will continue untill the werewolf is executed, or until everyone else is. If you would like to play post here in the thread saying so. Registration will continue until we have enough people signed on, then we will begin. 3nodding

I've decided that i'm gonna stick with one werewolf because I want to get this to last as long as possible. However, if the game gets down to only the werewolf and one student, the werewolf will be the winner, thereby eliminating his need for a majority vote. As for the details of playing, the thread will be labeled, "werewolf phase," this is the period when i'm waiting for the werewolf to choose his or her victim. After that, the thread will be labeled, "discussion phase," in which I will provide adequate time for the participants to discuss who they believe the werewolf to be. Once discussion is complete, the thread will be labeled as, "voting phase," This is when the students will only post the name of who they believe the werewolf is. Voting will be based on how well the accused defend themselves or who seems to be pointing a lot of fingers. All this will take place during the discussion phase. The person who receives the most posts with their name are accused as guilty and will be executed. If the students choose correctly, I will say so. If not, well... the werewolf chooses another victim.

As for the doctor, I have an idea on how that would work, however, I would like to keep the first game as simple as possible, just until we get used to the process. We could definitely add more complex rules as we start to play more games.

I will PM one of the above at random, and once they choose a victim, the game will begin.

Sweet! Mafia is awesome! shouldn't there be more than one werewolf, though, so that they can have a majority vote if it gets down that far? Are there going to be other mafia-like characters (i.e. doctor, sheriff or their equivalents)? In any case, I'd love to play.

I'm in, but I agree with what Merenwen99 said. I think we should have someone who plays the role of a doctor or whatnot. We have so many games nowadays! =3
