Silver locks of hair hung loosely around the sunburnt color pelt around bony cheeks. Lifeless red orbs barely cracked a wink when the sounds of nature around him would make noisy sounds. He didn't care, more of the fact that he was too tired to care. A body of his age could barely catch even a meager meal to eat, he had that right to be tired. Yawning, he curled up in a position so easy he were able to pounce up if someone were to sneak up on him, not that anyone would. Who would be in their right mind to attack a lion of his size anyways (like he were big enough to take on a full grown male. He was allowed to think that though right?)

Sawa smiled as he moved over the grassy savanna, enjoying the feel of the warmth on his back and the ultimate high of 'freedom'. Though he'd just left his first (and short lived) mate he was not sad of grieving over the fact, nor was he letting himself feel guilty. He was enjoying what he enjoyed most; traveling.
He had not been to this part of the rogue lands in a long time and never did he dream he would soon be running into a brother he had not seen since the two were cubs.

A faint ruslting of noise caught his attention but with a mere shrug he let it go. It was probably so jack rabbit or Klipspringer looking for a meal for themselves. Instead of being here though, Ukir thought, he should be /hunting/ those creatures. A lions got to eat, right? Or her just needs to find a pride where the ladies would do the hunting for him. This was the bad thing about being a rogue.
"Hmph" with a small groan, he lifted himself, moving to a sprawled posistion, ready to pounce. The nearby stranger would just live a few minutes to see his pearly whites before the death could consume it.
Unfortantly, this wasn't the case for this stranger. A lion? Ukir growled. Why couldn't it be food?

His left ear flicked as he heard a groan and his eyes darted around and he grinned. What luck! Before him lay a very familiar red form. Sawa was good at remembering others, especially his family. "Ukir yeh do look like shi'!" He said in the friendliest tone he could muster, easing himself toward his long-lost brother.
How easy he let things come and go!

He knew that voice. Oh boy what luck. Inwardly, the adolscent groaned, shaking his head as he dared to look towards who he knew was bound to be standing right in front of him. "Shut up" He snapped, ears pinned to his head in a sign of annoyance. "I look just fine." The silver hair male scoffed. Of all creatures he had to meet and on this very fine day/evening, it had to be one he was related to.
"What brings you here," perhaps he could make small talk with his brother, then move on to get a meal from him. Afterall, a meal would make his attitude much more appealing then what it happened to be in at this stage.

He winced and rolled his eyes. "Be nice." He said playfully. But he was pretty worried, his brother looked half starved! "You look as if yeh 'aven't eaten in weeks, 'aven't yeh learned t'unt?" He asked, not unkindly.
He plopped himself down in front of his brother and shrugged. "Nothin' brings me an'ere I jus' appear." He gave the other a cheeky grin.

"Yes I know how to hunt!" He said offensively. "What kind of lion doesn't?" He snorted, him, not know how to hunt? BLASPHEMY! "As a matter of fact," Ukir looked around, as if telling a secret that no one should hear, "I did manage to catch a jack rabbit the other day." He said proudly to himself. Okay...so maybe he wasn't the best of hunters, but still, catching a creature still added a point on to him. His mother never taught him how to hunt, and Ukir left his father when curiousity got the better of him.
Just appear, like magic eh? "Small world then." He said sullenly, gazing at the brother. Did he always wear the grin? Ukir couldn't remember.

"An' lion tha' be smart enough teh ge' a lovin' female teh do it for him." He joked with a sly smile for the other before leaning close when Ukir started to look around.
But what his brother said did not make him feel in awe or anything, it made him burst out laughing in a good natured manner. "Ah, ah! Ukiiir." He turned away as his laughter continued, trying to calm himself. "Yeh need some real food. Eh? C'mon." He grunted, nudging him to get up.

Ukir snorted. Damnit he had a point there. It was time he found a female that would just drool completely over for him and he could just use her to get an easy meal right? Right. The crimson red lion smiled slightly when his brother said this, half with that joking manner, half as believing it as reality.
His ears then drooped. "It's not funny." He said shortly. "It's a great accomplishment! Especially in this land." Now he was just lying. He had seen many other lions take down larger prey.
Pride was a sin, and of course Ukir was creating it. He shook his head. "I don't need your help." He said afterwards. If only he could put his dignity away for a moment, he could get something good to eat. But no, in his mind, Ukir didn't need anyone's help.
