Jan... was not exactly a fan of shoes. She was more the barefoot on the dirt type of gal, however, for the backpacking trip she was beginning to plan, her heels weren't going to cut it. So she was in a large shoe store, eyeing their boot selection. For most, it was hard to see around aisles, however Jan's blonde head was quite noticeable, considering she was already 6'1".
The boots ranged from high-heeled, sexy, steel-toed, to hiking. Guess which type this blonde was looking at? Not the heels.

Oh, but there was another Sin who did love shoes. Quite much, in fact. Mignon hummed to herself as she entered the store, heading towards the women's section to look about for anything new. La la la, shoes~

Mignon almost walked right past Jan. How was that, you might ask? Because the taller blonde had sat down, staring at the wall of shoes. It was intimidating. She had never been a great shopper. Still, she spotted Miggy right away and reached out one of her long arms to snag the girl's wrist, stopping her as she stood.
Jan's charming grin was warm, and let go of the onion girl's hand, rather than suffer the wrath of youngwomangrabbedbyunknownpersonomg. "Hey, Mig." No need to ask what Mignon was doing in a shoe store.

". . . !" Mignon blinked, and a grin spread over her face. "Ohmygawd, Jan!" She threw her arms around Jan, giving her a squeeze. "It's been forever since I've seen you?"
And then she seemed to realize where they were. "Shoes?"

"... Let's git some shoes." Jan nodded, leaving an arm around one of the people she was most comfortable being physical with. "'Ow're ya? I'm gettin' some boots t'go campin'."

Then, as an afterthought: "Camping, huh?"

Jan was nothing if honest. At least Mig had never needed to use her nice little ability on the potato girl. "Bit lonely. Been 'voiding Ancelin." Shifting away from Mignon, she stretched out her shoulders, brow furrowing slightly at the hiking boots. "Tha's right. Backpackin' ta th'site, campin' out awhile. 'way from all this."
There was that grin again, over her shoulder, right at Mignon. "Y'should come." Jan wasn't the type to assume. Who knows? Just because Mignon liked to be pretty didn't mean she didn't want to go camping. "I was thinkin' 'bout invitin' Lyrus, too."

Mig tilted her head at the mention of Ancelin, but didn't peruse it. She didn't like the blue haired woman anyway. b***h.
"I've never actually been camping before." She said after a moment, standing up and looking at shoes with Jan. "I can't see Lyrus in my mind's eye outside with nature. Dunno why. Unless it was on fire, or something."
"I'd like to come, though, s'long as I don't gotta work. Got some old clothes, and maybe we'll see snakes."

Jan's face lit up when the older girl agreed. "Mignon, I'll catcha one personally if ya want et." A large smile and she slid an arm around the other blonde's shoulders. "'N I'm pretty sure th' two o' us t'getha could convince Lyrus pretty easily."
A pause, and she reached over with the other arm to pluck a box of shoes off the shelf. Size 12. Good boots. "'Sides, it'd be a good chance t'catch up."

"I like snakes. All manner of creepy crawlies, too. Dunno why, always have." Mig laughed. It was seemingly out of character, but it was how she'd always been, before the makeup and the glitter.
"Out in the middle of nowhere with girls? Yeah, that might convince him." Mignon snorted, but a slightly soft look came over her face at the thought of him. Aw. Miggy had a crush on the little manwhore. "And it would. Stories around the campfire, huh?"

Jan was quiet, and kind, but not stupid. Her gaze sharpened slightly at the change of expression, but she simply smiled a bit, and nodded. "Mmn, stories indeed." The tall girl had quite a bit to tell, as she was sure her blonde companion did. Now that she had the boots... "Ere," Jan removed her cell phone from her pocket, a sleek, silver little thing, and flicked it open. "Why don' we swap numbahs?"

Mig took out her phone, which was quite flat and very, very pink. "Mmhm. Be good to be able to get ahold of ya without having to try and find you in the middle of a mall. Though, that does seem to be where we always see each other."
