Gurami had returned home with Banda at her heels. Life was quite complete except for the lack of her sisters. It was time to see them and tell them of her plans, though rather than face both at the same time, which would be unbearable, she decided to hunt down her eldest sister first and break the news to her.
With tail held high she tilted her nose to the sky hunting out her sisters scent from the others which mingled within the pride. With a smile she headed off in a beeline for her eldest sister. She wasn't really sure how Koi would react to the situation and little did she know that her eldest sibling had already met Banda.
She braught news, good news she felt, news she had to share with her nearest and dearest.

Koi had been relaxing a distance away from the others, intent on enjoying some of the sunshine and warmth. She had stretched herself out on her stomach, in a spot of light that shone brightly-making her already sunny pelt brighter. She had her purple eyes shut, thinking about the past events and the future-the future that would most likely mean happiness and woe... no matter what the circumstances.
She sighed and brought her paws under her chest, nuzzling into the warmth of the light. A scent drifted too her-very light and barely detectable-but she could tell her sister was heading her way. Koi opened an eye and gazed around... HEr sister-Gurami.
The sister who would hopefully prove that only Koi was sterile.
Oh how she hoped.

Gurami padded towards hewr sister happily leaning down she greeted her eldest sibling with a happy nuzzle. "Hey Koi, I'm back!" she grins flicking her long fringe from her soft lilac eyes. She smiled, she had so much to tell koi, she just wans't sure where to start.
"I bet you'rre wondering where I'v been" she grins, that smile ever playful and charming, she was happy and though she knew that she could not show her true emotions to all she could still be proud. Proud she had braught a male in tot he pride and that she wopuld bring new blood to it's lines.

Koi felt her sisters breath and gazed up at her. She smiled warmly, for her sister made her happy-both of them. She gazed up at her with similar lilac eyes-shaking the puff from her own forehead. Gurami, her sweet yellow sister... had a mate... and even though she had met Banda already, she wanted to hear it from her sister. To her the words that would most lkely mean success for the pride... for the cubs of their bloodline... of the queens blood.
She smiled up and nodded her head. I knew you were off on an adventure-but I do not know the specific's sister of mine.
But I believe it revolves around-a male. She said, standing up and nods her head against her chest. She was proud of her sister. This was a big accomplishment. She then lifted her head and smiled. Please sister-
Do not leave anything out... I want to hear everything about it She said with a huge grin of happiness. DId banda tell Gurami about koi's secret?

Gurami smiled softly, she felt silly speaking in such a manner even to her sister, the queen had warned after all about showing her true feelings around the rest of the pride. If that inclueded her sisters she wasn't sure.
"How did you know it's about a boy?" She grins at her sister, sometimes she beleived her sister was psychic, she seemed to know everything. Letting a rather girly laugh roll over her lips her pale gaze lifted and she gave a nod. "Yes, I found a male and he has come back with me Koi." She coos her lips tuirning in a large grin. She wanted to tell her sister all about Banda, how she loved him more than life itself, but she knew that was foolish to say, anyone might hear her.
"He will be staying with us, the queen has given me permission to keep him in our pride. Isn't it just wonderful?" She puurrs nuzzling her sister once again.

Koi smiled at her sister and nodded her head slowly. Males-she wondered if she'd ever find another male. She wondered... how much longer she would be able to keep her past-her old mate... her secret one... the one that she may have brought shame down on her name... and her sisters. She showed to much emotion, kept it secret, and they suffered heartbreak... because she was sterile.
She chuckled.Well... I believe his name is Banda... I may hav-already met him-sort ofShe said slyly, moving closer too her sister to rub on her... she was worried when she was gone. Would their sister be next-to find a male.
All koi could say to herself anymore was 'stupid girl'... she was dumb for what happened... so now... it was her turn to make sure that her sisters were not fools to a males game. I am glad to hear this news... that he is coming into the family

Gurami shook her head and laughed. Her sister always amazed her. "Wait you met him?!" Gurami looked shicked, Banda hadn't told her of his meeting with her eldest sister. She flushed a little and looked around awquardly. "Wh..what did you think of him?" She whispers her lilac eyed gaze curious and full of trepedition. Did koi know that she and Banda loved each other?What would her sister think of their relationship. She felt confused but glad that she didn't have to break too much newws to her sister.
"You've kinda ruined my surprise." She grins settling on ehr haunches. "I came to tell you he's here and we are back now, Bandas just resting so I came to find you."

[Koi laughed aloud and felt very pleased with herself with how surprised her sister was. She remembered Banda's reaction when she found out he was with Gurami. She then chuckled deeply, tucking her chin too her fluffy chest. Yes... I have met him... I met him while you slept under a tree... he and I... talked.
I think I should be jealous of such a sister of mine to have found a male like him. I enjoyed his company very much... and I approve greatly. You have found a worthy male indeed. She said with a smile

Guramis face lit up in an elated smile then and she giggled. "Oh Koi! I'm so glad you think so I was worried you would hate him or hurt him." She looked around nervously afraid that someone may have heard her outburst. It wasn't right for her to feel so attached to a male it could get her in a lot of trouble. "I love him koi but I fear I will get us all in trouble" She whispers padding up to her sister and sitting close to her her head bowed.
"I don't want to disgrace our tribe, but, but Banda is mine forever. I just know it." She puurrs a gentle, happy sigh rolling over her lips. "You'll keep my secret won't you Koi?" She whispers looking up hopefully at her sister.

Koi smiled and brought a paw over her sisters neck. She smiled and brought her cheek against her sisters. Sister. I would never tell anyone. Love is love and sometimes one can't help it. And it's not like you and he cannot be mates... Remember... only just... not as close to anger those around us. Of course I like him. I would never dream of hurting him unless he required it. And I doubt it'd be my job or responsibility. You are to keep and make sure he remains safe and under the watchful eye of our queen... safe he shall be indeed.
I trust that he will fit in perfectly. Do you plan on having cubs with him sister?

Gurami smiled softly a slight flush raising on her cheeks, she hadn't even thought of babies. "Well.." She paused for a moment her pale eyed gaze smiling. "Perhaps, i really don't know I hadn't thought about it Koi. I know that everyone thinks that is what Banda is there for though, so perhaps I should just to keep him all the safer from the others. He can't be taken if he is raising our cubs." She smiled her lilac eyed sancing.
Despite not thinking of it, the idea certainly gave her butterflies in her stomach. She and Banda with cubs? She could imagine the surprise on Bandas maw. It made her giggle and give a little sigh. "Perhaps, I like the idea, I just hadn't thought about it."

Koi knew that her sister was making some good decisions... Having cubs with Banda would pretty much claim him as hers... and he would be so occupied with the little bright babies, that would most likely be of no use to anyone else for a while. That and-the sisters of this whole pride, did not usually fuss over males... unless it was absolutely vital for birth to happen. Now, it was not really that important. I don't think there is much to worry about... but yes... Cubs would protect him from being claimed by someone else.
If you do have cubs... it'll be the first ones we've had around in a while... it would make the queen very happy. She said, leaning down to groom her glorious parted tail for a moment. Well. I am sure you have plenty of time to think about it Gurami. After all, he won't have anyone really interested... since he is new too the pride... he will be learning the ropes.
He will be to busy for anyone to notice-I am certain She said with a laugh

Gurami gave a gentle nod,s he knew her sister was correct, time would come when she and banda would need to bear cubs but the thought was planted in ehr head now and it made her smile. Lettign a little gigle roll over her lips the custard yellow lioness nuzzled her sister once more. "I should be getting back to him koi, i want to check he's okay." she smiled coyly, her sister had put the idea in her head of cubs and it made a little spark go off in her head. She wondered how banda would feel about babies, they would find out soon enough no doubt.
Bowing her head to her big sister she turned to head off back towards the den. "I'm so glad I have you koi." she smiles gleefully before bouncing off, a happy leap in her cheerful step, to have her sisters blessing meant more than anything else.

Koi smiled and nodded. She knew her sister would want to get back too her mate. Things were certainly going up for the pride. Someday, perhaps their sister would also bring life into this pride... perhaps... someday... Koi could be proven that... she was the only one who could not. She nodded again, giving her sister an affectionate nudge. Go to him sister.
I am glad to have you too Gurami. You make me proud. She said, smiling warmly with her purple eyes glowing-then she turned away and headed off. Ready to do some thinking
