The old school games? Like Secret of Mana, Earthworm Jim, Megaman(before he went 3D),etc. Personally I wouldn't mind if Nintendo remade some of those games for the DS. But that is just me.

I am talkin' SNES and lower. FF was on the NES and Super Mario 3/World regiened after they were released. Link to the Past and Super Metriod proved them selves and DKC was a great platformer. But I suppose now N64 is old school. So cool beans

The original Mario Bros. was always fun. Frustrating as all h*ll when you lost all 3 lives, but still classic. Makes me grateful for the save points in the new systems. The original Sonic was awesome too.

Indeed. Original style platformers were the best. One of the hardest games I have ever played has been LoZ II. Dang that is hard. I haven't beaten since I don't have an NES but it is still harder than any other game yet. That or Dragon Warrior on the NES.

good times. Secret of Mana is one of my personal favorites. It was hard yet easy at the sametime especially with the magic system.

I remember Krusty's fun house for the NES and Batman was really friggin' hard Jazz Jackrabbit (computer game)It ran on MS Dos at that time. I think I was around eight when my aunt decided to get it for us. A little like Sonic with a gun - hop around, shoot turtles and other evil critters, pick up carrots, and if you find and free any of the birds, you have an AI ally until the poor bugger dies.
